Hotel staff were all very helpful. I always admire how multi-lingual they all are. Love your breakfast and everything is topped up quite quickly. It did take me a couple of times to get the coffee right: cappuccino + an extra shot of espresso makes the perfect cup (or the cappuccino is just far too weak)

Check in and check out was quick. My room was new and very clean. No problem with hot water shower and internet. Food (Caesar Salad) at the restaurant was really great. Novotel now my preferred hotel in Luxembourg.

The greeting was lovely and staff on desk really welcoming. My lower score is the room and food. The room, whilst clean, is worn with stains in the carpet. Both the room service and breakfast was poor quality. Over cooked chicken, hard bread and soggy bacon. Good place to rest your head but wouldn’t recommend outside of a work trip

"strange" from hotel about the fact the the room is only guaranted until arrival 2 pm. no phone call. Fact is that I am platinum member and normally the rooms are not available before, so what about this mail ? New renovated room ok. Dinner with many mistakes.

Checked-in before online; check in at the hotel as such was smooth. But: No drinks voucher offered, no welcome present given and no upgrade in line with gold standard. I understand that the latter is subject to availability but to be frank out of 15 nights I stayed at Accor I only had 1 upgrade which makes it probably just as likely to be upgraded without gold status. The room was clean but did not leave a good impression with bedding and towels appearing as if they had been used already. This is detail I think for a four star at your rates is worth looking at these standards. Breakfast was much improved to my previous stays at your hotel - the breakfast was fully set-up by 6am (previously, this had not been the case), i was greeted and my room number had been taken. Check-out via key drop; the invoice was received swiftly.

« Room Temperature »

I like this hotel with the exception of one, important to me, issue - you cannot lower the temperature in the room below 22 degrees C. The only reason I was moderately comfortable at night was because I could open the window. Being a frequent traveler to Luxembourg, I am very hesitant about staying in the Novotel during the summer. If the engineering staff can override the thermostat, then I'll stay there again. If they cannot, then I will stay somewhere else. The only reason I gave this hotel less than perfect marks is because of the room temperature issue.

« Very nice hotel close to city center »

Very nice and clean hotel near to the city center. Thw receptionist very friendly . He answered all of our questions. The room clean and with a huge Tv! The only thing I didn;t like is the guarantee by credid card policy. Except for this all was perfect
