Should have a glass door to prevent Shower water spilling into the toilet floors also no water drains at rest of toilet floor for room 1530. Very poor wifi keep on disconnected. Should raise the power socket at the desk to above table heights.

The hotel worth my stay; the location is only a few stops from city attractions, the room is spacious and convenient with all necessary amenities needed, staffs are helpful and breakfast is superb in the way that all selected foods and pastries are mindfully set for guests' good health. I had fig juice freshly served at the table! I like each day of my stay.

as a person that often stays in Accor Hotels worldwide, this Novotel experience wasnt one of my favourites. i will explain why: At arrival (even though given the welcome drink voucher) i didnt feel i was part of the Accor hotel program gold member. in all my other stays (even at IBIS hotels) they presented a welcome gift, i dont expect something big or expensive but a simple bottle of water saying welcome to our room makes the experience more personal and the small detail is appreciated. when we arrive at the room, it wasnt ready with the crib for my daughter. Also, after asking for an extra quilt i never got it... We left the pool for the last day and after changing to our swimsuits and going up it was closed...the pool was going to be in maintenance on the last day of our stay but there was no information anywhere (room or elevator as i have experienced in other accor hotels) that this was going to take place so we could plan accordingly. we couldve done it the day before but there was no hurry, right? also there was (i believed) an Argentinian waiter on the rooftop bar who was a bit unpolite to the guest and making fun of "a fat" colleague who didnt do what he was asking for on the phone... also he tried to keep my voucher as i only wanted 1 of the drinks offered and not all of them... after telling him that its not the first time i had a voucher and he could simply write the number of drinks left on the voucher he reluctantly accepted... on the positive side, we stayed in 3 hotels during this trip and Novotel Barcelona gave us the most soundproof room and best breakfast of all. also the quality of the crib was nice. i want to point out that it is not intended to be a critisism but points to improve as they are not huge or costly improvements... and could make weight on your recurrent guests thanks and BR Cesar Perez

« Excellent hotel - good location »

Great hotel - easy to get to being very close to metro (Glories) and train stations (El Clot). Also easy to get into city centre - long walk though! Comfortable rooms with great views. Magnificent roof top terrace and pool - fabulous views Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Only criticism was that it was difficult to get information on the facilities as there was nothing in the room and reception were slow to answer the phone - but once they did they were very helpful (in fact all the staff were very helpful and friendly). Totally recommend anyone to stay here!

It was one noticeable issue with smell in our room. Either people had smoked there, or staff put too much "air cleaner". Anyway, it was remarkably bad smell there. However, since the begining, the provided room was updated to higher level (Executives) for free, as for Accor member. So, Novotel was expectedly good.

Not a very clean room- the sink was constantly over clogged. I did not report the problem but I supposed the cleaners would have spotted the problem. Also, they never tied the room. Only basic cleaning. The room was extremely expensive for the quality of services.

After Amoma ceased operations I contacted your representatives to confirm my reservation. I was told my reservation was fine and to not worry. I follishly relied on your representation and arrived at the hotel only to be told you had cancelled my reservation. I had to make a last minute booking at nearly double the price.

Will not recommend the hotel at all. 1. I don't have my welcome drink. Unless that bottle of water in the room is so call "welcome drink" 2. I was not offered for any early check in and late check out. The night before, I had tried to request for a later check out, staff mentioned that I should settle a charge of EUR50 to keep until 5pm and asked me to check on next day. Next morning, I was offered until 2pm because the hotel is full but I was offered again to pay. So if this is subject to availability, does it mean that i have to "pay" for the availability? 3. My key card is not working. I had double checked if I have to change the key since it was extended till 2pm and Elisa(if I recall correctly) reconfirmed that I don't have to. When I was back at the hotel at 1:30pm, my key was not working. I expressed my dissatisfaction and all I got is a very cold, not looking in the eye reply of "Yes, It is my fault." I am very certain that this is the NOT the quality and attitude that you can offer to Accor Members. I do find Maria and Chiara are very pleasant with the guest.
