We were only there for one night, but the hotel was nice. My wife thought the room (1031) had a bit of an odd smell to it. All the people in the hotel provided good service so, overall, we were happy with our stay.

Overall a great stay with friendly staff. We enjoyed the hospitality of your roof top bar and Barbara was always welcoming with a friendly smile. On our last night we were told that there would be a private function on the rooftop. That we were informed that we could stay up one end of the rooftop area. We were then informed that we would have to leave by a very apologetic barman saying that he made a mistake. Still I understand that a mistake was made. I went up to the bar to close my account and then was confronted by one of the organizers of the function while holding my arm ( a total stranger) told me that I would have to leave and not to order another drink!!! That I was not doing only paying my bill. Very upset to be spoke to in this way. The bar person then told us we can continue to entertain our guests in the lobby bar. We relocated to the lobby bar that was actually closed? Very frustrating so we left. Could I suggest that you notify guests prior to a function not 1/2 hour before it starts and incorporate crowd control tape to isolate the function guests from public areas.

Video Shoot was taking place and compromised the value of our hotel expense. Video shoot was taking place and this closed the restaurant for one night, closed the swimming pool and terrace area for one night and closed the gym for one morning. None of this was highlighted or mentioned when booking the hotel and also not mentioned when checking in. No information in the room. The video crew treated the hotel as a factory floor with no respect afforded to the guests. This was most disrespectful.

Check in only took a few minutes. Upgraded to a suite, thank you. View not brilliant as building work taking place. Breakfast, couldn't ask for more variety. Hotel great location only a short taxi ride from Santes train station.

Inconvenienced by Video shoot taking place at the Hotel, Swimming Pool and Bar closed for one night, Restaurant area closed for one night, Gym area closed for morning. None of this was mentioned at the time of booking or at the time of registration at the hotel, No information in the room. Felt value for money was compromised and lack of respect from Novotel and the arrogance of not considering the guest experience.

We had a great stay with you. Thank you for the upgrade. Check in and check with Enric not sure of spelling (sorry) was very professional and helpful. The only negative point was that the was closed at 6.30pm with no information.

The hotel is conveniently situated for the Glories Shopping Centre, Metro, tram and beach. Rooms and other facilities are of a high standard. Staff are very helpful. The only serious drawback is the small size of the rooftop swimming pool.

We have travelled as a four person family - everything was perfect from the hotel side. The service exceeded our expectations. Also, Accor loyalty program worked - the hotel upgraded the room standard automatically and provided all attached benefits. One negative thing that need to be reported is the pool opening hours - 11 am till 7 pm is definitely too short if you want to take advantage of the city with kids. In fact we couldn’t use it at all.

Not a luxory hotel (it's a well deserved 4*) but almost like. Roof bar & swimming pool at 19th Floor, Barcelona view from our suite at 14th (comfortable and cosy, maybe not so large for 3 guests), warm and keen service from the concierge and excellent breakfast are the key topics to remember.

« Very happy with our stay. »

Our room was great- comfy bed, good size room and lovely views. Cleaning service very good. The only negative was some of the reception staff weren't very welcoming and unapproachable. as Australians in a foreign country it would've been better if we were given more attention. An info desk wasn't manned a lot of the time we were there unfortunately. Disappointed to find out that I couldn't use my membership for meal discounts.

As a family of 5 our needs were all met during our lovely stay in Barcelona. What a great welcome we received from Raul at the desk. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. Both rooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool, bar and snack area.

We had a very pleasant stay for 6 nights in this hotel. The room was spacious and we had a nice view over the city. The breakfast was great and the rooftop pool and bar were very nice as well. Also all employees were really service oriented. Just across the street there is a big modern shopping mall 'Glories' were you can also have dinner. The metro is also around the corner and can be reached within 2-3 minutes. Room for improvement: although the breakfast is very good, we would have liked to see some variation at breakfast, for example introduce some variety at the hot dishes. Furthermore, we would recommend to update the small pool on the rooftop, it's outdated and doesn't fit with the rest of the picture. The water temperature of the bigger pool should have been warmer as well.

My friend and I were celebrating being 50! From the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The reception staff were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the hotel from breakfast to early evening drinks on the roof terrace, which was definitely our favourite place to be. Thank you so much Novotel for making our trip memorable, we will be back!
