I did not get the room I requested. The showers wouldn’t drain fast enough to take a normal shower. There was no safe or iron in the room. There were bugs on the desk. There was no restaurant or food service for dinner.

Everything was good. However, the hallway of my level (8th floor) was too dark even with the automated lights and they seem to be doing some repair on the wall right in front of the elevator doors. The room looks nice but the shower box looks very tired. Also, there was no hot water.

Last year I had stayed at Mercure in Rome and was extremely satisfied with the stay so choosing Mercure in Manaus was easy and the expectation was the same. I was not unsatisfied and was happy with the location of your hotel being not too far from the airport and the city centre and having a wonderful shopping centre really close by. Your staff was excellent and I would like to single out Bruno at the front desk who was extremely courteous and efficient in dealing with us. If ever we visit Manaus again your hotel will be my choice again, rest assured. Thank you for everything.

Overall experience was good. Front desk personnel are always exceptionally nice and helpful. Negative-I was on the 3rd floor and a house next door had 2 dogs barking on top of it all night.
