First of all, I booked some rooms for my family. I emailed to Mercure Surabaya checking for 2 rooms connecting and not recall for the other booked room. because I thought it would be easy to check in by bringing the booking code through reception. But on the day I check in, the reception didnt find my other booked room (not the connecting one). So, I had to wait they check again in accor website. It took a lot of time to wait over and over. How can as big as accor group can be missed reservation like this. After a quite queue, we finally check in to the room. meanwhile our non smoking room was smelled as a smoking room! breakfast was superb. dissapointed on reception.

We had wedding at mercure ballroom, we stayed at superior, and suite room. We got free tea and tango that filled every day. We checked in early in the morning, when they had free room, reception called us even before 12 pm. However, my husband got smoking room first time, then asked to move another room. My guest also said nice location and good breakfast..

the room was excellent, started from cleanliness, no smells, and very neat. Lack of small fridges but it's not a big deal. Excellent building circulation for smokers, but please put some "No Smoking" sign on the lift or the alley (corridor) to raise smokers awareness of their habit. At least building up people awareness to appreciate those who are none smokers.

It was a good experience, the hotel has full facilities and great wifi. but unfortunately the TV wasn’t clear enough. I would switch off the TV rather than i watch it. In addition, i was requesting for a scissor by calling the receptionist for 2 times and waited about more than half hour, it didn’t come at all. It was quite disappointed, i can understand that request for a scissor or knife may be big questions to the hotel, but i was need the scissor for opening the plastic wrap for my luggage. I already explained to the receptionist 2 times, and also 2 times they said that they will send representative and will accompany me while using scissor and i said no problem. But still it didn’t come. So I decided to open the plastic wrap with my teeth. Such in appropriate but i was urgently need to open my luggage. And lastly, i called for the 3rd time, and i said no need to bring the scissor bec I already open it by using my teeth. And they say ok thank you. I was speechless. They weren’t apologising for the delay or what. They just say thank you. I will not take that seriously, but i hope a great hotel like mercure hotel would have not only great facilities but also great hospitality. Thank you

every time I went to surabaya, I always stay in mercure,but every time I stay the quality of the room is decrease, and the last is the worst. I check in on 7th of july and they give me room 306. 1.the matress was terrible,you can feel the spring inside the matress already came out and it hurts when you sleep. 2.TV channel mostly blur,cannot watch any channel with clear view 3.the bathroom still stink when we entered first time. hope you can fix all this.

1. I stayed at this hotel for two days. Because my business is not finished yet, then I extend my stay. I told the receptionist by phone that I had made an extension through the Traveloka app. The receptionist said that I had to move rooms, I received and asked for help to move the goods because I was with my baby. I waited almost 2 hours until my room was ready to move. During that time, I twice received a call asking if I would extend my stay or not. it irritates me. because I had to repeat the explanation and wait a long time. 2.I ordered breakfast for my room. I ordered the chicken porridge and the meat soup with rice. But that comes chicken porridge with meat soup and bread (I do not order bread) 3. I had guests who came bring diapers and gifts, but he was forbidden to enter my room because he wae thought as Gojek drivers. it is impolite. I was disappointed staying at this hotel

« I give 7 just because most of the employee are very kind and friendly. »

First of all, I'm not Ni Putu Erni M.. She's only helping me to book at the hotel. Pro: 1. The hotel and our room is clean. 2. Almost all of the staff are very kind and friendly. 3. The fish soup is amazing. Cons: 1. Me and my husband have to wait for more than an hour for registration. 2. While waiting, we take a buffet lunch at trimurti, and my first bite was a stale mango sambals :( 3. Almost every dish at the breakfast is cold eventhough they use stainless steel chafing dish. Just why? 4. It's too hard to find a clean and set empty seat that I have to come find the staff to do so. 5. Our first morning was so unpleasant. I think it's around 8 o'clock, we wakeup because the housekeeping keep on knocking at my door (when I really need a good rest. Oh come on!). And because we didn't give any respond, he try to open the door! (What???) Thank God we lock it. I'm so angry that my husband tell me to stay at bed and not confronting the housekeeping. There's no other hotels ever did something like this. Ever. And he did that just to pick up "IF" we have some dirty laundry. Please don't do that, it's very annoying. We'll find our way if we need your help. 6. The refrigerator in our room didn't working. I'm very sorry if I wrote too many bad items. I'm just trying to be honest so you can fix and improve your performance. Thank you.
