Front office is terrible. Welcome service is not good. I got room in the new wing, the cleanliness of the room is bad. No one help me with big luggage. Bedsheet is full of stain. Nice breakfast, food is quite tasty. I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, at the first stay around 2 PM suddenly someone (maybe hotel staff) came in to my room and offering swim towel. I often stay at accor hotel & this is one of the worse so far.

Mercure Surabaya has new tower which is very nice. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is great and breakfast also has many variety. Mercure Surabaya has a nice coffee shop in the lobby. The hotel has undegone big facelift since I went there few years ago and very impressive for Mercure Hotel standard. Highly recommended hotel in Surabaya for a decent price.
