I was a Australian state hotel school director/ program manager. I know a bit about hotels and travel a lot. The room was not stocked properly by house keeping. Had to ask for water and remind twice. Booked a day tour through hotel and driver was late and a discount was offered but never given when settling bill. Not informed that a pass need to be got for free parking and my partner charged rupiah 90,000 when going out of car park. Coffee at breakfast like warm. Brown croissants not croissants but bread mix. Omelettes are not made ala cartel but pre made and kept in chafing dish. Lots to improve. Staff very polite and helpful.

Hotel is located in a good location with security officers in place to ensure safety of the guests and property. Service is good, staff followed up quickly on housekeeping request and also called in the morning to remind us of the breakfast time.

While I understand the hotel was bookend on our stay, the room amenities could have beem better (less stingy). This is the first novotel I stayed that didn't provide shower gel, only one tiny soap bar. I know I can just call operator and have it delivered to my room. But it was late, I just wanna get some res. Only 1 pairs of slippers were provided evethough it was clearly mentioned in the reservation room occupancy for 2 persons. The ac generates loud noises if we put the fan speed on high.. As a result we settled for the low fan speed. As I said all above probelws could have been rectified but I just didn't wanna do the extra hassle considering it was already late and all rooms were occupied. No welcome drinks voucher was offered during check in, I had to ask. The welcome drink selection for gold is poor, only coffee, tea and some juices were offered.

As an Accor gold member is amazing where we can have so many surprise when we booked the Accor Hotel through website. When we entering the Novotel Bandung 's lobby everybody already knew and when we had the check in process, we got a surprise that our room had been upgraded to junior suites for the same price of standard room. It is the best experiences.

At first, I choose Novotel because it is a well known hotel brand and I expected everything would be satisfying, but turned out it was a big no. When I checked in, the staff gave me a room on 4th floor, and I asked him whether they have a room on higher floor, and he said that they did not have and I need to wait for 1 hour if I want higher level room. So I tried the first room. After that, I felt the room is so small, because I booked premier King room, not the standard one, when I complained to the front desk, they said that my room is a standard room, but the standard room and premier king room is the same, the difference is only the benefit (I do not know whether its true or not, but its not a problem for me), maybe because of I was looked little bit confused at that time, suddenly the other staff at reception offered me another room on higher level (11th floor), and I accepted it. The issue that made me irritated was the first staff who helped me check in. It was so obvious that at first he lied to me about the unavailability for upper level room. The second disappointment was the AC on my new room was broken. I was sweating through the night. The maintenance team also came twice, but after they "fixed" it, the AC still the same. It could not make my room cold. The third disappointment was the connecting door to the other room. Maybe it was also my fault that I did not check it at first, because suddenly there was people from the other room came to my room by mistake twice. It was pretty annoying and disturbing. It was clearly a mistake that the staff who prepared my room did not make sure that the connecting door is closed properly so it will locked.

B4 dinning in i asked if Accor Members would get a discount, staff said yes. After my meal, they mentioned that only certain members are entitled mine wasnt. Room towels were not replaced. Shampoo was not replaced had to call front of the house to get them. Toilet flusher was faulty on the first day however i was too tired from my work trip to have it rectified. Of course admist the above, the concierge is very professional and the kitchen staff at the life cooking stations provided impeccable service.

I was staying in Bandung for Tahura trail race. Thanks for the consideration for late check out, so I can have a quick proper bath before leaving Bandung. Just an input, for the guest who came for a running race, late check out around 4 pm to get some power nap will be awesome!

Overall is good, comfortable room, nice staff, variety of food and services. However, TV was small and for bathroom.. prefer not using bath tub or both of bath tub and shower. Especially if any old parents who will stay at there and could not using the bath tub due to very high.
