« A little disappointed »

The price I paid for the breakfast, food choice and quality was poor and service was so so. I do not like service charges are added to automatically to everything (restaurant and spa). Especially spa treatment, there are no disclosure or explanations beforehand for service charges. I ended up double tipped spa therapist since the hotel added extra service charge on top of my bill. I travel a lot and I know how to tip. I hate the hotel does that. The room was ok. The furnishings were kind of outdated and old.

We enjoyed the large rooms. As we had two kids and a grandma with us the 50 % discount on the second room was appreciated. Breakfast was a treat and overall the hotel was well run, efficient friendly and so so convenient to hook up with our flights.

The hotel lobby and concierge service is good. But the hotel room was dirty, especially the curtains etc. There was no iron in the room and had to request it. Some of the personal products, example conditioner, body lotion etc were missing. Overall disappointed

« A convenient and pleasant hotel »

For an airport hotel the experience was surprisingly pleasant. The rooms are of a good size and well furnished. Bed was big and comfortable. The executive lounge was a little disappointing but the 3 hour complimentary evening drinks is generous.

« Comfortable airport stay »

We were fortunate to be upgraded which made the stay for our family of four very comfortable. The kids loved the pool whilst we enjoyed happy hour cocktails. I was a little disappointed by the buffet and we had trouble finding a clean table at breakfast at 5am, most tables were empty but had not had the dishes cleaned away.

« Adequate for short stay, but frustrating. »

I only stayed for about 6 hours while on layover in Bangkok. The check-in was smooth; however, the bellhop did not take my luggage straight to my room. He left with my luggage about 5 minutes before I left to go to my room and he was not there when I arrived. Also, the key card did not work to turn on the lights. I had to return to the front desk to ask where my luggage was and get them to turn on the lights. When I finally had my luggage and the lights were on, the internet did not work and the IT help people were not able to fix it. I often stay over in BKK and this was certainly not a great experience.

We stayed for 9 hours at the Novotel Hotel during transit and the hotel was great. The spa was excellent and their shuttle service was great. If you are in transit, this is a great hotel to stay.
