Generally the stay was fine, the room as clean and comfortable. But the hotel itself hasn't impressed, having windows to the hallway was a bit strange.

Hotel staff do not communicate between each other . Take wrong names , food orders etc. Also hotels food is very, very bad . We got served overcooked burgers , giving wrong information about food availability and old desert . Very disappointing experience. The amount of food we sent back was enormous. Very disappointing .

« Good quality but pricey »

Great location hotel. Walking distance from T5. Generally good quality hotel. We paid extra for a Superior room. The internal window tends to make the room feel a bit gloomy. But this is the design of the hotel. The breakfast was great. I emailed the hotel prior to arrival but had no reply. I rang the hotel to make a reservation but was handed over to a central reservations system. However check in staff member said they do take reservations at the hotel itself. At £240 per night B&B, I’d rate the hotel’s value for money as mediocre.

In the first room we had, the bed was lower toward the wall. Hence when you played in the bed, you were at an angle. They moved us to a second room where the TV remote did not work. Fortunately we were able to get the TV remote from the first room that worked. A bit pricey for the service.

« Fine but not really 4 star »

I was reluctant to write another review as it seems I find something wrong every time I use this hotel, however, the many things that are good about the hotel are often let down by many small things - this time the room was tidied but the water was not replenished, the beverages were not replenished, the cups were left uncleaned and where we left them, the toiletries were not replaced even though the night before emptied them. Add to that the fact that I had to phone reception at 4 am to ask that they visit the floor above where a very obvious party was being held in one or more rooms, the experience was not what I expect while travelling. Seems there was a wedding and its been private functions in the past with excessive noise.

Hotel is nice and comfortable and staff is very kind. Its location next to terminal 5 is very convenient. The room however, was a bit noisy and I discovered that the space under the bed hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. I also found dental prothesis there... The breakfast buffet is pretty good but I was disappointed by the pizzas in the restaurant which were very average.

« Taste of luxury that surrounds your needs either the night before or after a long flight. »

My wife and I were greeted with gracious and smiling hotel staff. We then went to our spacious room freshened up a bit and took advantage of the afternoon high tea. Delicate and tasty food with a robust tea was just the right ingredients for sinking into a proper state of relaxation. After a brief and needed power nap we went back to that special room for wine, cocktails plus hot and cold horsd'oeuvres.
