A stopover between flights led us to book at Novatel Citigate. We were very impressed with the hotel and hospitality shown to us. During the booking process and ongoing communication the hotel Asgard were excellent and graciously accommodated changes for us. Our room was excellent with probably one of the best designed bathrooms. It was great for our stopover.

Great place to stay for the purpose of business meetings. Close to airport (10 mins) with shuttle service. Great breakfast and access to shopping. The hotel organized for me to travel to a nearby fishing village and enjoy excellent seafood in a traditional setting. I recommend this experience. The hotel would have scored higher in my estimation if the room attendants had provided new shampoo/shower gel on my second day. Instead, nothing was available.

Good but not that satisfied. We stayed just for 2 nights (2rooms) & the first day I used the ironing board expecting that this will be kept inside the closet when we get back . To my disappointment, it was still there when we got back. I was just too tired to complain. Considering that the rooms are not that big, the least that your staff should have done was to return the ironing board back inside the closet where it belongs.

Always have high expectation staying back at Novotel Citygate. Arrival at hotel, had my check in done and warm welcome from the duty manager until the premier floor. My usual favourite guest relation guy was on vacation but met up with the local guy on duty. He was pretty nice and helpful especially when I need something. However from Mid week (Wednesday) onwards, there was a change of staff I think as he was no longer at the lounge but there were one lady (I think maybe from Philippine) and another in the evening (Also I think she is from Philippine) but boy are they super unfriendly. No greetings is okay but no attention to your needs even when you sit down at the lounge. They simply don't get up from their seats, also super unfriendly when you start to talk to them as if I am owing them a lot of money. I did not expect the guest relation staffs employed by Novotel Citygate to be super unfriendly. Boy I missed my American Guest Relation Guy, wish he was there when I stayed there at least you know you are well taken care of. Something need to improve on the hiring of guest relation staffs on this floor otherwise the image of Novotel Citygate will be set back in future knowing that there are more hotels coming up around Citygate.

I love coming here! The hotel is very clean and smells great. The gym is big and open 24 hours a day. The pool is stunning and has a meditation garden. My room is always perfectly quiet with powerful air conditioning available. Room service is top quality.

Arrived tired and hungry after long flight from NYC. Appreciated the warm welcome and upgrade to Exec Room. Enabled me to grab a quick bite before resting. Next morning I had to leave early, so could not try breakfast, unfortunately. Wish I had more time to explore rest of hotel and area nearby. Next time!
