We only stayed two nights in this hotel. The rooms are clean and updated, and the location of the hotel is wonderful, however, we didn't find the staff friendly or wanting to help (Excluding the restaurant staff- they were very nice). It was very hard, as a tourist, to not have someone that could understand Spanish or English at the front desk- we somehow managed to get along- The gal was frustrated trying to understand us, and her frustration carried on to us. We also asked for the room not to be made but when we went downstairs to get extra shampoo, the lady at the front desk glared at us when we requested the additional toiletries. All in all, we would chose to stay at another hotel next time we travel to Sao Paulo.

The room has a great size but need more maintenance and cleaning. There’s coffee e and tea in the room but no plug to turn....and after we tell about it the reception can’t find any at the reception desk.....The location is great !

The staff is great. I had the privilege room, but there were quite a few problems with it. The safety deposit box didn’t work (I have € 4000 worth camera equipment, that I could not lock in it), the balcony door doesn’t lock, so it would not be very difficult to get into my room from the room next to mine, the air conditioning unit was dripping water to the floor during whole night making a bond and kept me awake. I am a Accor hotel member and the hotel had my credit card number, but still they had to make a reservation of BRL 200 to my credit card. At the check out, if I had dropped the key card to the box and made a express check out the price of one breakfast, BRL 38, would have been deducted from the deposit, but as I sat down with the receptionist, I had to pay the breakfast separately and the BRL 200 could not be used for that proposition. In the next Accor hotel I am staying, the receptionist just compared my credit card number to the number on my reservation and that was all. All my expenses are charged on that card.

The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was good, the mattress a little too soft for my particular tastes. The bathroom was good. The only problem was the sink off the main room. The faucet leaked easily. You had to use a lot of strength to tighten it enough to not leak, And one of the tops of the faucet nobs was loose. Everything else was great, including friendly hotel staff. The price of breakfast, I think, is high. A decent breakfast, but I think it should be a little less expensive.

I love the hotel and always when I come to São paulo, that’s the hotel I want to stay. The staff Tamirys was friendly, helpful and atencious. « Great location but not clean and place is in dire need of renovation. »

I think this is the worst Mercure Hotel I have ever stayed. The room layout was strange with the bed right in the center of the room from where you watch the sink. The shower box was moldy. The external surroundings of the AC were falling apart. The bathroom window was dirty. There were feet marks on the wall and the sink area had an unpleasant odor. We planned to stay there for 20 nights but moved out as soon as another option was available. Good points are location, restaurant and staff.

The air conditioners need to be replaced as they are old and worn out. Furthermore, the one in my room was badly positioned. Very uncomfortable three nights. Never again.

Air conditioning was not working. We needed to move the rooms. Spend 3-4 hours with diffferent tradies trying to look at it. We are priority members but no discount was offered on any food.

Dear Mercure-Team, I spend one night in Sao Paulo Mercure Hotel on december the 22nd 2018. I did pay the hotel costs via the online portal Agoda. When we arrived we accidently have been charged again. I have seen the mistake directly and the receptionist directly did do a cancelation of the costs on my credit card. However, I still havent recived this money pack, 276,40 BRL in total. I have an official "Devolucao de Depisito" that I recived in the hotel here and can send it to you if you need it.
