« Very friendly staff made for an extremely pleasant stay »

Good rooms with very good cleanliness and timely room service. The common area is very well decorated with ample board games and even a foosball table which makes for quick entertainment when waiting for the taxi. However, the breakfast buffet can definitely be improved to make the stay even more comfortable.

« Hotel guest entered my room whilst I was sleeping! »

I was incredibly dissatisfied with my one night stay at this hotel. As I was drifting into what should have been a very pleasant sleep, a complete stranger unlocked my room door and walked in with his suitcase. I screamed at him and he quickly left. When I spoke to the receptionist (she claimed to be the manager), she said that he must have got the wrong room. Which was fairly obvious given that I was lying in the bed partially clothed! At no point did she acknowledge or apologise for the fact that an Ibis employee must have given the guy the wrong key card! I demanded another room but was told that the hotel was fully booked! I asked for a refund and was completely ignored. The 'manager' then said that she had now changed my access card so that I was the only person able to access room 212. Why wasn't that always the case?!?! I returned to the room and checked online to see if the hotel was fully booked. Surprise surprise, it wasn't! Using the leclubaccor website I was able to process a room booking for one of three rooms that were available! I didn't feel particularly safe in the room and put my suitcase alongside a chair up against the door. Which wasn't the best idea given that it was my only fire exit! However, the idea of someone else walking into the room whilst I was alone in a foreign country and being attacked seemed far worse. I've emailed my complaint to the company, but over 48 hours later I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement, refund and an apology! When I checked out if the hotel the reception staff apologised and didn't make excuses for my disastrous stay! However, I'm still incredibly disappointed with my overall experience.

« despite a complete update to new IBIS standard, go to other IBIS in Casablanca »

Desdpite to be in new fashion IBIS renew recently, the quatilty of this hotel is still low, most probably due to a lak of Managemetn care. Despite of two claims, the staff didn't change the bed sheets with holes, nor put hangers, nor put a second towels in the bathroom. Trace of blood on the curtains, and a limited cleaning. According to the staff, the lack of bedding and towels is a voluntary decision of the management of the hotel. Icy hotel without apparent heat, even in the dining room where diners take their breakfast with their coats.the overall image of the hotel saved by a butler having done a quality service and attentive to the bar, and who served one morning at breakfast. The only day the staff was present, anxious to bring customers satisfaction. If noto the four morning a furtive staff hung up coffee at the croissants at the restaurant, to leave in the pantry. Room service, or personal breakfast service for hungry staff?Hotel without interest or attraction! een due to the noice of the bridge in construction closed to the hotel. Unlicky I got a room over the main street!

Except the bar where the Maitre d'Hotel provided a professional service (even when he was working at the restaurant for the breakfast, the rest of the hotal does not deserve attention! In spite of the renewed demand, no hanger in the room, bed sheet with holes, only one towel per double room, state of the towels lamentable. I received as an explanation that the management of the hotel did not want to spend in towels and other fabrics. No heating in the rooms, but not in the dining room where customers keep their coats because of the cold. unfortunately room overlooking the avenue, the work of the new bridge, so concert horns ... The day the famous "maître d'hotel" was not there, the breakfast was starved. The staff went by for coffee and croissants, but missing the restaurant where I did not find a spoon or fruit juice, all in a Siberian frieze! Ibises from Casa Central Station, Tangier, Rabat showed me that the service of IBIS can be correct in Morocco! But here "the habit is not the monk", even renovated this hotel is of poor quality.. This is the first time I visited the hotel since the transformation, and I was quite impressed by the new look and feel of the hotel. I had a warm welcome upon my arrival and everything was going well until the dinner. The choice on the menu is already quite small (specifically for the starters) but when your first choice is missing, this is bad. Also, the quality of the food can be improved (undercooked fish), as well as the speed of service. The freshness of some stuff in the salad buffet was also subject to caution (like the eggs). The night was OK, despite some noise coming from the bridge under construction. Ennoying, but independent from the hotel. But the worst was the check-out. I have never seen such a boorish receptionist with such a negative attitude. My check-out was early (5:30am), but this should not be an excuse.

Hi, I had a great experience at your hotel, and I especially loved how helpful and warm the staff is! (from reception, to restaurant, concierge, etc. everyone!) Thank you, I appreciated it very much! Unfortunately, the breakfast is not great... I was there for 4 nights, and I tried to have breakfast 3 days, and it was... disappointing. There was no Orange juice pitcher (which is mandatory for breakfast, esp. if you are going to have foreigners as guests...), the scrambled eggs were always finished every day I was there (and I went there at 8:30am...) and I had to wait a long time for the staff to bring a new batch, which wasn't a full container, only a bit more added to the empty previous one... Before the eggs are finished, staff MUST know and replace them, not to wait 10 min for the kitchen to make new ones. An International hotel of IBIS level MUST offer a variety of appetising options (this is not the case). For anything other than the very few items on display, you must ask the staff and they do try , indeed, their best to satisfy. your staff is GREAT! However, the cheese, cold-cuts, fruits, and juice, MUST be fresh! they can't look like they were left overs from the previous day. Also, Orange Juice is a MUST, and it must be present on the table. not to have to wait for it. Both coffee machines must be working for a food court of that size. there is a high potential for improvement in the food quality area. There were no hasbrowns/potatoes of some kind, the cold cuts looked like they were sitting there a long time and dried up, the cheese just 2-3 slices, all dried up, and just overall, there wasn't a lot of choice for the food itself... a proper hotel breakfast offers a variety of pastries, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, juices, etc. Out of the two coffee machines one was broken and the other had to be fixed by the staff, so people were waiting around for it. it's a pity, because everything else was great! Oh, and other disappointing (and weird thing really...) was that the bed sheets (the sheet covering the bed, not the duvet) on first night, didn't seem to have been changed, as after you removed the duvet/blanket/cover, you could see some hairs, etc and it was almost transparent, you could see the mattress through it... not very appealing... (both beds, the same)... on second night, I could tell they had been changed as I checked and they looked fresh... on first night however, I slept on top of the blanket and covered myself with the other blanket.. as the blanket/duvet covers were clean... strange.. maybe an oversight... ? otherwise, Great stay! Rooms needs to be all renovated. I had both the older room then the renovated one. Breakfast coffee machine did not always work properly, works 1 time out of 6. Receptionist always checking and working on assistance, always with a smile, a real plus.
