Things to improve: - Bed size - The working desk should be modified from the glass surface to something that can work with the mouse - The aircon was a bit noisy for the light sleeper like me.

I had a few spare days in KL, so decided to treat ourselves and booked a suite at this hotel. The suite allowed us access to the executive lounge. I was aware that the hotel was in the process on being upgraded. However I was informed that this was the swimming pool and spa. When I booked in, I was informed that the lounge was closed for upgrading, even though, even today the Accor website still advertising the suite with access to the executive lounge. I was really annoyed, especially when asked "didn't you get an e-mail" Obliviously I didn't otherwise I would have booked myself in to another hotel. I asked about breakfast - the response in the main restaurant - I asked about afternoon tea - the response was 'not available" even though I paid for it. Cocktails on the first night , which was served in the main restaurant was meatballs and a bottle of beer. I do that sometimes things go wrong and the quality of how they are resolved is a measure of a good hotel. Unfortunately there was little or no response to rectify the situation. I twas clearly a case of 'bad luck" Later that day, a plate of fruit was delivered to my room, which is quite normal for Accor Gold members, however no apology or in fact any mention of the huge mistake. So so disappointing, I was looking forward to enjoying my stay and it was completely spoiled by very slack management of my booking. I would never consider stopping at this hotel again. I paid for the most expensive room in the hotel and was ripped off.

It was a very bad experience for in fact one of the worst next to the bad experience in Ibis North Point in Hong Kong. The hotel was under construction and the doors lock malfunctions. I normally stay in Accor for more than a 100 days in a year in fact the stay in Novotel was the 70th unfortunately it was really not good.

I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel, I was given a room which was a bit dated and noisy. I put up with it for 3 nights. However I meet hotel manager GOH Ching Sing - NOVOTEL Kuala Lumpur City Centre MK . She was relentlessly trying for exceptional satisfactory stay for the guests. She gave me a very good room and also upgraded and allowed late check out. She was exceptionally helpful to make my stay very comfortable. All the staff are courteous and breakfast is superb too. I would fully recommend this hotel. Location is superb too. Special thanks to GOH Ching Sing - NOVOTEL Kuala Lumpur City Centre MK for her help and willingness to help.

Despite recent negative reviews that I have read online, ours have been nice and comfortable, even with the on-going renovation. Check-in took time, but frontline, restaurant and the rest the service staff were kind and accommodating. Food is also nice.

The standard room was not very nice as my wife got nearly electrocuted while using the iron and the whole room was tripped into darkness. However on my return from my conference dinner, I asked for an upgrade and the kind manager gave us a Junior Suite and that was fantastic.

Started on the wrong foot. Assigned room 616, second time leaving the room, I checked the door handle to make sure the lock was secure but horrified that it could be opened without the card key! Tried a few more times and was sure the door lock was not working. What a major security lapse! And after reporting to the front desk, no one took special care and attention to allay my concerns about the overall security of the hotel. Furnishings were dated, I can understand the hotel is old. But security is a critical basic expectation. And I was deeply concerned for the safety of my female colleague who was also staying here then. Nevertheless, would like to commend a lobby staff by the name of Sharif (I think). He was attentive to details and displayed a good measure of customer service. Aside from that, I am deeply disappointed by this experience.

Was not my first choice of hotel due to price, and I in fact initially booked Ibis KLCC on booking.com. However my booking was not successful and therefore I ended up staying in Novotel as it is the only hotel with one last room available when I landed in KL at 2am. Nevertheless I am in general satisfied with the hotel -- great location, connected to the Pavilion via a footbridge, and relaly close to everything else. Room size is reasonable but the bed is tiny -- I'm 5'6, and my feet were almost hanging in the air, beyond the end of the bed. The hotel is also a tad old (they actually renovation going on and you will not be able to sleep past 10am), and my bathroom has a flickering light. While my room is at the end of the corridor, I can't help but feel it might have been haunted... Anyhow, I did my precaution measure with the (potentially any) spirits and managed to have good night sleeps. All in all, I would recommend the hotel based on location and the reasonable pricing. I look forward to it post-renovation.
