« Great staff! »

This was my first solo trip out of my country, and my first time in Malaysia as well. To be frank, I was not expecting the room I got. I kind of expected a similar, if not the same, set up as the other Novotel I stayed at before. I had great sleep nevertheless. The hotel is currently under renovation. Maybe have that noted on the hotel description while the renovation is not yet complete? Set the people's expectations - availability of higher floor rooms, facilities, etc. The staff was great - nice, helpful and attentive. I look forward to staying here again.

Check in and out were swift, wifi is strong, front desk is helpful, breakfast is satisfactory, bar lounge is relaxing and friendly. air conditioning is the major highlight because it has been improving in the past few years.

It was a great short break. The food was delicious but the dining place was quite uncomfortable due to the heat. Comfort level of the bed was so-so. Since the hotel is still under renovation, hopefully the newly renovated hotel will address both issue.

Staying in Novotel has been very good. The strategic location between Bukit Bintang and KLCC where both direction is just a few minutes walking distance is superb. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, from concierge front desk reception house keeping restaurant till front door security are excellence. But the air conditioning at the main lobby and restaurant need some cooling improvement. Its a bit warm and humid. Some flies are spotted in the restaurant during breakfast dining, probably due to the warm environment.

« Power tripped »

Power tripped on 4 May 2019 at room 1670, at 4am in the morning. Technician gave excuses that he is new here and isn’t sure of what to do. When the power was up, half of the toilet lights and corridor lights were not functional. Unpleasant nights rest.

« The staff at the hotel were magnificent »

The first night was terrible. The room was run down and smelt of cigarette smoke. There was mildew in the bathroom and a large wet patch just outside the bathroom door which seemed to get bigger overnight. We asked to be changed to another room after our first night and the staff were extremely helpful. They arranged another room which was a vast improvement and we settled in for a very enjoyable stay.

Totally unhappy with the room. 1st room, the cable TV was not working and couldn't resolve the problem by tech, toilet flushing system faulty. 2nd room, last night stay, the whole tv entertainment totally non- functioning. Our bed was two twin beds joined to be queen size and not a regular queen size bed, so uncomfortable in our sleep. We were told the hotel was fully booked and no more options. We voice this to one of the manager and nothing could be done.

Very dissatisfied as your motto seems to be only money. My travel was delayed due to visa issue, but I was charged for the same.. On the booking.com portal there are tall claims.. Anways, if a guest faces problem, being in service industry, this request should have been considered and I should have not been charged. I appeal to the senior managers to note and pass on the refund to me. Thanks.

normal hotel experience, no signature experience, rooms are not 3-star standard, food variety not attracting, staff are not friendly and every time i come to this hotel just like first timer even though a regular., many need improvement. i choosed this hotel because i like the bridge walk connecting to various places.

Your staffs are friendly and good services. The ventilation in breakfast is not good, no-air conditioner cover all room. Bed size is not big that I thought, it is small when compare with another hotel in same type.

« I would like you to set up a smoking floor after renovation »

After completing my reservation, I received an email from the hotel "We have not smoking room". As I chose a non-cancelable plan, I can't do anything. Please post important information clearly before booking. But, I could stay smoking room finally because "before renovation". I would like you to set up a smoking floor after renovation. The room was clean and spacious, very satisfied. However, although I was applying for late checkout already. But I received a reminder from front desk at 12:00 nn and he said "It's time for checkout". One more thing, I sent the shirt to the laundry. but didn't return for 2 days. I think there is a defect in the communication system. Although I think good hotel, but I was disappointed at this time.

The non renovated room is quiet old. The warm water is too cold in rush hour (6am - 9am, 5pm - 9pm). The room cleaning service is good. The breakfast is non variety. i ate fired rice with curry chicken and sausage for 4 day!!. No drinking water was served at breakfast, (only juice, detox water and milk)!!!

Location good for everything we wanted. Staff always helpful and very pleasant. The room left a lot to be desired. TV did not work on several occasions, bath was very slippery, the rack for towels fell off, the finish in the bathroom was very patched up.
