The room was very cosy and I liked the red and grey decor. Although the design was simple, I was able to find everything I needed. I liked being on the 8th floor as it was very quiet. When you open the window, of course you have the sounds of planes taking off. I quite like that as it's part of the whole experience. It also shows just how close the hotel is to the airport. Very convenient, just a five minute walk. Two pillows were provided with the bed and there were two spare ones in the wardrobe. The only thing I might suggest is providing one flatter, thinner pillow although that is a personal preference. Also, a couple of sachets of coffee creamer would be nice, as well as the UHT milk. Check in and check out were simple and fast. The reception staff were really friendly and efficient. Thank you and I look forward to coming back.

Some muddle getting online confirmation in November 2018 and again on arrival. So some concern whether room available, sorted after reception staff disappeared into back office. Bedroom up to expected standard, good. Very disappointed with evening meal, as a previous visit. Tasteless, will not eat there again but will go elsewhere even if staying in hotel.

« Problem with check in »

Check in was an issue, I had booked a half board stay but this was not picked up at check in, I was then given a card to use in the restaurant which already had the evening meal box ticked, I spoke to the reception staff who said this should be blank and completed when I had received my meal. this was also the case with 2 of my colleagues who checked in with me. I could have been embarrassing had I not noticed before heading to the restaurant. When I turned up for breakfast the following morning I was told I had not booked breakfast, again embarrassing! this also happened to another of my colleagues. My evening meal starter was sent back to the kitchen as it was not hot enough, this was replaced but I feel it was the same dish having been microwaved as the lettuce was warm. My room was clean and there was little or no noise which I thought there may be, the staff were all pleasant but the service could have been better.
