The exhaust fan was broken. I’m sure that this should have been pick up before we arrived, and repaired. Also the shower needed to be replaced with also should have been pick up.

I have been coming to your hotel for 9 years, visiting the hotel every 2 or so months. Nobody knows my name. There is never an effort to allocate a better room. At my last visit in August this year I was allocated the Disabled Room.

I am most disappointed with this first stay at this hotel. The accommodation was excellent but the overall experience was not good. Dinner was booked in the restaurant which was very busy. We were served quickly and the food was delicious. On going to pay the bill I was informed that the hotel would not honour the 50% discount on Gold Member Accor Card that evening. I asked why and was informed because of the event on at Qudos Stadium the hotel would only give a discount of $20.00. I am very disappointed with this treatment, because the hotel could not possibly know if we were going to the event or not. I and I am sure a lot of other people would expect to be told about any changes to the discounts offered before taken to our seat, not just told when we are paying the bill. The restaurant had already increased the prices of meals as I had already looked at the menu in the room. There was a difference of approx. $20.00 per dish. I most certainly will not stay at this hotel again and will also look to see if I renew my membership when Accor can just change the rules when it suits them.

- Staff were very polite and nice to talk to - The bed wasn't made well. Underneath sheets were pulled too high and doona too low. I had to re-make it - Room was clean and fine - Was unable to eat dinner in the restaurant as it was full

Disappointing. Person checking in was rude. Hotel restaurant had no room for house guests for 2 hours. I was advised to “take the kids to McDonald’s” when I enquired where to go.. They are 5 and 2 and have never had McDonald’s... fortunately the restaurant and staff at the Novotel were far more pleasant and accomodating. The bar staff at the Novotel were also excellent where I used the drink vouchers... allowing cocktails like other hotels. Maybe I have just come to expect too much based on previous stays and this is th real Olympic park experience. The one saving grace was the pleasant concierge- and having the Novotel across the road
