Very welcoming. Plenty of smiles by everyone who worked there.Very quite which was much appreciated. If you are looking for space then you might need to ask for a bigger room. Being by myself the room was find but with my partner would be crowded. Great location.

on the 15/6 I rang to make a reservation and specificly request the reception to put me in a quiet room with the least noise as myself and my wife are light sleepers and would like a quiet room to rest. We were put on the highest floor room 618. We check in very late around 10.30pm everything was ok but early morning at 6.00am Sharp we were awake by the Magpie Birds on top of the room window roof, they were flying in and out and making very loud noises continuously for at least an hour plus, Hence we were awaken and could not get to back to sleep again. Upon checking out in the morning, my wife did made a complaint to the ibis reception of what happened and the reception said she has not have anyone making the similar complaint before and this is the way it is and there is nothing much Ibis could do. Subsequently I rang up and spoke to the supervisor Tanya the next day and she too said she has no authority to resolve my complaint and refer me the speak the a duty manager on the following Monday, I rang and spoke to the duty manager late afternoon as there was no call back in the morning as promised, The duty manager said the most he can do is to offer me a complimentary breakfast if I check in again next time. I told him im not happy with the resolution as what is a $26 buffet breakfast going to compensate for the unpleasant experience I had and the matter is still not resolve as the duty manager said he is going to speak to hi s on up manager but he doubt there is anything else Ibis could do to compensate the unpleasant experience we had as he said if we to complant at 6am in the morning he could moved us to another room, but 6am in the morning in out pyjamas there is no way we going to pack and move to another room and he said that is the best he can do. We wanted to escalate this complaint further at least Ibis could offer us some sort of real compensation to offset the unpleasant experience we had and a complimentary night and breakfast that is the least IBIS can do to welcome customer back again with some sort of compensation. I have paid for the room but not to my satisfactions and I want something to be done, hope to hear from you soon. Thank You Jason T. 19/06/2018

Currently our restaurant is open nightly from Sunday through to Thursday and closed for dinner on Friday & Saturday nights, however open for breakfast every morning. Our overnight stay was fantastic. Our room was brilliant, spacious, well appointed, meticulously clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed a bite to eat from the overnight menu, service was outstanding. Breakfast was a wonderful selection and again, service was fantastic. Check in and check out were very smooth. Elise was particularly helpful, courteous, friendly and efficient. We will be back.

as GOTD and a member of staff I was blown away by the service I received. it was actually a nice touch (for a little old staff member) because now I know what it feels like to be guest of the day and experience the Ibis hospitality. My boyfriend who knows nothing about the hospitality world thought he was famous for the evening! I would have no issue recommending Ibis GW and their capable staff. Elise on the front desk was beyond helpful.
