« Great night's rest after a day travelling »

The staff here are superb, and that is what turns a good hotel into an excellent hotel. They are friendly and chatty and professional The availability of a full restaurant service up to 23:00 hrs is a big factor. I will happily stay again.

We arrived on a hot day to find no cooling in the room. A service man came and changed a filter but still nothing worked. After being told there were no other rooms available to go to a helpful housemaid found a fan for the room which helped. The shower drained very slowly and was one where you had to step up into it making showering a wet and slippery experience. All the lights in the adjacent building were left turned on overnight making it difficult to dim the room - what a huge waste of resources! A very average experience in a less than superior room!

I love the Novotel in Paddington and have stayed there on more than one occasion. I travel to Paddington for work and have regular meetings held in 1 Kingdom Street - so it is extremely convenient. The staff are super helpful & friendly - one of which remained so polite & patient on a call with me where the phone service was terrible, and we could barely understand each other!! I think his name was Nishanth (- thank you!) The greeting at the hotel is always warm & welcoming, and I love the rooms. The only small critique would be to possibly include a small toothpaste in the bathrooms?! On business trips we often have light bags and minimal toiletrees - and for some reason I always forget my toothpaste, so this would be handy! 10/10 for the food & service. The breakfast being one of the reasons why I can't stay anywhere else!! I love & appreciate so much a wide selection of fresh foods. They also have a later check-out time of 12pm which is great - I'm often so exhausted from traveling the day before so a relaxed check-out where I can organise and prep for another busy day is so welcome. Thank you Novotel, I look forward to my next visit!

Easy to get to from the tube (Metropolitan/Circle exit) with outside eateries close by. We wanted a pool/gym facility to start our day and NP also had a steam and sauna which was a nice bonus. My daughter's and I usually care for a family member and this was a perfect, easy break for us! Thank you to the staff for being so kind and helpful.

We arrived early on in the week from a very tiring journey, once in the hotel the reception staff were welcoming and very informative, even though the lady had a very strong accent. Once in our room the first thing that hit you was the smell which wasn’t pleasant at first but we felt a little perfume spray will musk put the smell. Also the air conditioner was of small working order making the first few nights in our room uncomfortable. Due to the very hot weather that we had over the week. We also complained about the built in fridge that is in the room which wasn’t working, and never got seen to either while we were staying. Maybe a few things could be seen to be improved in places. But as our first family break to the big city the hotel has it advantages due to its peaceful location.

Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was nice. Steam sauna was nice but other sauna wasn't warm enough for Finn. Keycards didn't work very well (even if you didn't keep it near mobile phone).

On checking in not acknowledged as a silver card member & not given a complimentary drink card, which I had to ask for later. Door entry cards had been deleted on day two, which was inconvenient. No online invoice received on departure morning. All these matters were dealt with, once we had asked and a chocolate brownie and bottle of stillwater was left in our room.

Room has no air conditioner. We have flighted for 14 hours plus 4 hours waiting time and 2 hours land transportation. However, we just can't breath fresh air and cool down to sleep.
