We had a pleasant stay. The room service is very nice. The location is excellent. Some points for improvements are the hotel can maybe offer complimentary SIM cards or they should be available at the hotel for purchase. The rental bikes are expensive compared to the Itaú bikes so maybe the price can be improved. There is no hotel taxi service. Although there are options of Uber and metro, yet probably the hotel can can have their own airport pick and drop service. The room needs to have basic amenities of a kettle and some complementary water and tea coffee as this is standard in all good hotels. Other than this everything was good. The breakfast options are very nice there is also a small refrigerator in the room that is a plus because not all hotels provide this. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. good experience - suggested areas for improvement are: 1) need more reception staffing (wait time to check in or check out is way too long = 20 mins.) - and 2) cleanliness (small insects crawling around near window area - this was the same 2 years ago and looks like it has not changed since then)

The ibis Copacabana Posto 2 is located quite close to praia de Copacabana, thus allowed me a good chance to fully feel the Copacabana, and Ipanema.

I've stayed here four times so it's clear I think this a good choice. The staff have always been mixed: mostly young and friendly but sometimes lacking in experience. I must have stayed at over a thousand hotels in my life but this was the first time the person at check-in DID NOT SAY ONE WORD TO ME and not surprisingly no smile either.

« Disappointing service with a good customer »

The overall experience was not bad, but at the end I was extremely disappointed with the management, and the way they handled my late check out. Especially because I am a member of the AccorHotels program. There was no interest in keeping the customer happy, which is very sad. I will spread this feeling with other possible customers.
