I made a reservation through expedia. Befoe I left, I just consulted if I could change my reservation through expedia, and later they replied me that the hotel gave them a answer they could accept the change without penalty, but finally I decided not to change and told expedia not to change. However, when I got there, the reception told me that my reservation was canceled. So i had to stay there with much higher rate. Since my reservation in expedia was not canceled, it was obviously from the mistake of Novotel. My first experience of Novotel was in Madrid. It was amazing there, so i wanted to feel that again in buenos aires, but novotel buenos aires was terrible. From the smoking smell in the room to the poor breakfast, it was all disappointed. So we decided to move hotel to other after staying there just 1 night.

Whenever I stay in BBAA I stay in Novotel (business and leisure). This was the first time during the winter and this changes a little bit my experience since I couldn1t use the air conditioning in my room during the night (although there was no mentioning of that in the website or in the moment of my check-in). Besides that, I love the location and all the hotel staff.

« Could be better. First time last year was almost perfect »

I stayed in the room 301. A few comments: 1. I could not set the temperature for the shower. The temperature knob was not working properly. I needed the maintenance personnel to take care. Could take a good shower in the second night only; 2. I found the room too dark even though turning on all the lights; 3. No place or table to put the luggage; 4. Only 1 hanger available.

I stayed IN January and the service lift that take the guest to the garage was broken. Now in May, it was broken again(!). The shower in my room had a weird problem. After around 5 minutes in it, the water would go away for 1 minute and then would come back. I complained at the reception but the problem remained. I will be back within two weeks and hope they fixed it all, otherwise I may have to change hotels

The hotel is extremely well located in downtown Buenos Aires. As Avenida Corrientes is now partially a pedestrian avenue right in front of the hotel at night, if you like to stay “where the action is”, then this is the perfect place. There are several restaurants and even a supermarket near the hotel, along with a number of theaters. As for the hotel itself no complaints; breakfast was very decent, the room (a little small) has all the necessary amenities: good wi-fi, nice and comfortable bed and pillows, good local and international TV channels, a little fridge and a good-sized bathroom. The room rate is a little high.
