mistakes in refill of minibar, no new shampoo for 3 days, no empty laundry bag for 3 days. then a bag shows up, but without any form to fill... the list is long... very long.

« Very High Price for this hotel »

The cost is very high for a very low value added experience. The room was dark, the curtains did not work, some things on the bathroom weren't working properly and the front desk attention was inefficient. I wont recommend this hotel.

« Hotel over priced for the quality of the services and the comfort of the room »

No real issue during the stay, service was ok, although I had to wait 4 hours on my arrival because the room was not ready, when I finally asked for a room (because I was seeing people checking-in and I've been told I would be the first one to get a room..) I got the worst room ever, 1 st floor on the street with construction work... I'm a platinum member of Accor hotel so I would have expected a bit more consideration. On more story during my stay, when I requested an airport transfer for Sunday morning 7:15am, and I got a call from the hotel on Friday at 10:30pm to confirm for Sunday, and I got awake by a phone again by the reception on Saturday morning at 7:15am to ask me if I had a transfer scheduled today.......... anyway, long story short, I have to come back in March to Buenos Aires, for 3 weeks, with 4 colleagues, and I will not come back to Novotel.

We will definitely be back. The only complaints I have are that there was no hot water the day we arrived, there were a lot of eggshells in the scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet, the bacon was too soggy, the staff didn’t check on us when we sat by the pool dining tables, the life guard wasn’t paying attention to us at all, the sauna wasn’t working the whole time we were there over 10 days, and the lunch buffet didn’t have enough options for me to enjoy. Otherwise we really enjoyed the beautiful room, playroom for our child, pools, and polite service.

I had a good experience overall. My only complaint is that service at the front desk is really slow. I had to wait to check in and out even though there was one person who was free. But they did not look up or help you. Instead, they make you wait for the other person to be free.

Great hotel in an amazing location with fantastic staff. If I have some complaints they would relate to the design of the room. The fantastic room design is lacking some practicality, for example the outlets are hidden and hard to access, the shower door always leaks water to the bathroom floor.

« A centrally located hotel. »

The hotel is located in the heart of the theatre area of Buenos Aires. It is very close to the famous Theatre Colon. As such at night time the area can be very busy. The famous "Guerrin" pizzeria is located next door. It is close the the centre of the city and also within walking distant to Recoleta and Puerto Modero. The furniture in our rooom was all black and the room was poorly lit at night time.

The location is good, 3 minutes walking distance to obelisk and about 30 minutes walk to Place de Mayo. Fast checkin and checkout. Very nice staff at the reception speak excellent English. Breakfast is ok. Room size is a bit tight.

« Hotel is nice but needs better maintenance. »

The hotel was fine and I appreciate the relative lack of noise from Av. Corrientes. However, the rooms need to be better maintained and issues need to be fixed. My door was extremely tight to the frame making it difficult to open. Most importantly, better air conditioning is needed in the gym. The temperature in there rose to an unsafe level and several other people I talked to in there did not feel comfortable and felt dizzy from the heat.

Although I checked in online and the key was supposed to be ready to be picked up and the room rate locked to usd 198.00 including vat. However. I w as charged usd 235.00 ( this charge was reversed after i intervened few hrs later) and I had to undergo the whole check in process which took a rather incompetent front desk representativ 1/2 hr. No help with the luggage was offer. The room was extremely small and uncomfortable for a 198 roomcharge
