Facilities were fine. Have 2 kids that have celiac disease, asked specifically about gluten free food at lunch, they said food was " gluten free" and was contaminated and both kids had strong stomach pain like they have not had in a long time. Unbelievable this happeneded at a Sofitel hotel Was not going to say anything else, but after I got a 2nd email reminding me about my experience, it feels like a joke. So this is it. Will likely submit same feedback in trip advisor and other places

Very pleasant. Dinner was excelent. Setting is very nice. Suggestions/complaints: lack of armchairs in the room. The ones in the balcony were unconfortable due to lack of back cushions. Lights in nightstands were inadequate for reading. There were no salts for the bathtube, and provision was slow and not of good quality. The newspaper arrived with destroyed page and was not replaced as requested. Lack of place to seat confortably outdoors.

The front desk staff were excellent, the hotel rooms were very good however the food is very average for the quality of hotel and the restaraunt and bar service is absolutely terrible. Having to serve yourself coffee in the morning or chase waiters for another drink when the hotel is not busy is very poor.

Our stay was really enjoyable. We spoke a bit with Raul and he seemed super excited about customer experience and how to make the hotel better for each person. Spa and food was great (even though they do take a long time to bring your food). We had 2 particular issues, the first was the Heater in our room did not work properly on our first night and we had a lot of cold. The second issue was a major one, after we came back to the room from the spa (we had asked for maintenance on the heater) we found our room door completely open, we hadn't lost any belongings but this is a serious security issue. When we went to front desk to complain about this they said they were going to check the security cameras, but we didn't have any response whatsoever, this is why I'm actually removing 2 points from my LTR.

We stayed at Sofitel years ago, when it was brand new, and it was a very different experience... I specifically refer to the details...the scales in all three rooms we occupied did not work, we asked for them to be checked or have the batteries changed and nothing was done; the glasses were not replaced; the duvet cover in one of the rooms was badly stained; the facial cloths were not replaced; the card keys were a headache to use; we never got pen/pencil to write in the three (3) blank note paper we found.... Our security box got blocked and we had to wait for over an hour for someone to come solve the problem (I had to call twice), we got stuck in the elevator going up from the Bowling with our 23 month old grand daughter and had to call another family member to let the people at the hotel know because the elevator's alarm apparently did not work, and stayed stuck for over 15 minutes... The food at the restaurant was not that good and the pandemonium at the Bernabe Bar was incredible...full of small children, come on! it's a bar!!! Anyway there are some nice things to mention as some of the staff members were really nice and always greeted us with a smile, but I think the hotel really needs to improve its management. And yes, I think your personnel at the booking section are incredibly nice and I appreciated their attention and service.

After about 1 hour 20 minutes Remis ride on Thursday evening March 21, 2019 from EZE we arrived at the Sofitel La Reserva - first time we'd ever stayed at a Sofitel. The staff greeted us warmly in the large lobby and showed us to room 201, a very large room on the first floor. The hotel was extremely quiet that night - apparently this is a weekend resort hotel with nothing happening on Thursday evening. We found a fellow in the bar who fixed us a very good mojito and a gin and tonic and set out some nuts. That had to do for us. We had a large patio with 2 lounge chairs that needed to be wiped off for us to use them. We used bed pillows on them to make them comfortable. The patio would have a great view but it is mostly blocked by some large trees. The bed itself was very comfortable and bed linens were excellent. It would be good to have an extra bath towel included - we only had 2 each day and needed to ask for washcloths to use. The shower plumbing needs to be corrected - very difficult to control the water temperature and the water spouted all over from the overhead shower. The hand held part flew all over and didn't fit well into the holder on the wall. Our mini bar was never serviced during our 4 night stay. After 2 nights we began to get bottled water left on our bedside tables, a very welcome offering. We could buy bottled water in the restaurant or at the outdoor pool bar when it was open. Although we had made our reservation online via email with the wedding group, it seemed like we were the only guests in our building from the wedding. The others all seemed to be in Building 3. There was a nice fountain just next to our patio that was only turned on for Saturday and Sunday. Various activities were offered only Saturday and Sunday. Nothing really happening during the day on Friday. We only speak a little Spanish and there were no English speaking channels on the TV or newspapers in English - very different from the cities and towns we had stayed in while touring for 2 weeks before the wedding. It was also difficult to speak with the front desk due to our lack of Spanish. Breakfast buffets were delicious....lots of great fresh fruits, cold items, hot eggs and meats, fabulous pastries. Very friendly service in the restaurant. We could only find salt on the buffet near the scrambled eggs, not on the tables. Lunch menu is quite limited but adequate - nice salads (which we preferred not to eat on our trip) and some sandwiches (we shared a great club). The seating on the open air terrace is very low on wooden benches or at high top tables - pretty difficult for us older folks who have shorter legs. Pillows on the benches would help with comfort. We had dinner only one night in the restaurant and found the menu adequate - some steak, pasta, vegetable dishes. We generally eat much earlier than the Latinos so the room was really empty except for us but the kitchen accommodated us. The outdoor pool area is very nice with a great view of the resort. The pool was roped off and closed on Friday. Cushions on the lounges would help with comfort - we helped ourselves to extra towels to use for cushions. On Saturday and Sunday the pool bar was open although guests had to go to it to get service. They fixed a great vodka caiparinha and had beer or other drinks. The indoor/outdoor pool was popular on the weekend. The adjacent neighborhood is really nice to walk in and the hotel provided a good map with various walks marked. The golf club next to the resort has food facilities but the hours seemed quite limited. There were lots of people going in to Sunday brunch/lunch. Our wedding group had a great time on Friday night there with a private party. The hotel was to seat the wedding guests together on Sunday morning for brunch but many of us ended up in seats much removed from the other wedding guests. Not sure what happened.

We enjoyed our time on the property. The shuttle service was completely terrible and we ended up getting back to the room at 3:30am because of a terrible policy. Other guests complained about the failure to remedy a broken shower which left guests showering in the gym rather than the room they paid for during the weekend. The staff was very friendly, but the service (especially the shuttle, which I highly regret relying on) were not of the quality of even a three star hotel.
