I stayed for 2 weeks for a training course at my new company. My room on the 12th floor was very nice. And the breakfast was really good. All the options to choose from were almost overwhelming. Only small issue was that even on the weekend the breakfast closed at 9:30.

From the long period I stayed, only a day or two was complicated because they allowed many children without a correct amount of supervisors. Except that all the people on the staff team treated me very well.

On arrival we realized we had booked a hotel 40km from the city centre. As tourists and first time visitors to South Korea we really wanted to experience Seoul. Your front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. But there was one standout employee for us and that was LEE, JEONG HEE. This young lady was exceptional. Giving us coffee at 3am when we were awake with jet lag. She helped us plan our trip into Seoul, researching and mapping out public transportation and even explained how to buy tickets. All this with the brightest smile. If I could just give one critique it is that we booked your hotel because of a tourist package that we accessed through your website. It stated that your location was close to several major Seoul attractions and that the palace was in walking distance. This package was for actually for the Ibis Insadong, very misleading for tourists.

I often travel to Suwon on business and I must say that Ibis is one of the most pleasant hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are comfortable enough and for breakfast they have a big selection of food. But I think my best experience has always been with very welcoming and polite staff. I am a regular customer, so staff remember me by name and I am always very positively surprised with how much they care about my stay - I sometimes even get some small gifts, nothing very significant in itself, but it's a nice touch when it's cold outside, the manager sees you're going out and offers you some pocket hotpads. If I have any choice where my company books me next time, it'll for sure be Ibis.

« Convenient with value added free shuttle bus to airport bus terminal, and good English reception staff »

We arrived the hotel nearly midnight, but had airport Lumosine bus direct stop at the entrance of the hotel, and on the day we departure to Airport also have free shuttle to the airport bus station. The reception staff speak fluent English and also very polite. Good in cleaning hygenic services, lots of choices in different kinds of food around the hotel, also the public transportation near the hotel can easily approach to Myeongdong and Dongdaemun in centre of Seoul, for accommodation enviroment may be better than Seoul, I will consider to stay in Suwon instead of Seoul in future.
