It was a very short stay of approximately 6 hours - However it was enough to gauge your Hospitality and courtesy - You Rates are one of the cheapest and staff are very friendly - Room was a bit small as expected since it’s a Budget Property Yet it was Cosy - Thanks and you can count on me to Drop by in the Future.

The experience was overall good. However, there are a few points I would like to you guys to consider: 1) The room service in the cleaning department should be more prompt. I had to remind multiple times in the reception and to the facilities to clean the room. 2) The lobby gets way too crowded at times. Maybe a quick clearance process in the reception can help address this. 3) There were no appropriate toiletries provided. Just a shower gel in the washroom was provided. 4) The lighting in the rooms should be more bright. I did not have enough light to study. Few good points: 1) The room was spacious and the AC was working really well. 2) The lift movement was really good. 3) The shower in the restroom was good. 4) Overall experience in the lobby was pleasant. (Apart from the crowd thing highlighted at the top)

« Hotel is just OK »

Hotel does not have good house keeping as they take loads of time to solve your needs. Even Toiletries are chargeable. Food isn't go great in the restaurant. Bar is OK. Room AC has a motion sensor build in them, if you sleep at one position for long AC switch off itself until you move. This is very annoying. Taxis and Metro is near by this is the only Plus point of this Hotel.

I have stayed with NOVOTEL and Ibis Al Barsha many times, but in the past few months the service has declined dramatically. During my recent stay there were no towels in the bathroom and I could get any towels until the next morning. That is a disgrace!

Twice, taxi drivers delivered me to the wrong hotel. Name change? The front desk could not provide me with a electrical adaptor. Bad service. Breakfast service should start earlier. TV should provide CNN.

As a Gold Member there was only 1 check in staff available during the time of check in. Bathrooms need to be renovated as they are outdated and extremely ugly and the shower is filthy due to the outdated shower. Will avoid staying in that property as it is below Ibis standards

« My experience was quite a pleasant one except for a house keeping issues. »

My stay was quite a pleasant one. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It was my wife's 50th birthday and the hotel sent a cake to the room which I thought was very thoughtful and kind of them. My only issue was with the house keeping. I'm not sure whether it was a communication barrier but the keeper clearly did not understand my requests. We booked as a couple but they only supplied one bath towel and no hand towels. I requested the housekeeper to put 2 bath towels but it seemed like he did not understand and he again left only one towel.

Experience was okay. However, for check in and check out we have to wait forever in the line to get assistance. It’s so ashamed that IBIS it’s such a Big hotel and there wasn’t any iron or steamer in our room. When we asked for the iron, room service did bring it but after an hour he asked the iron back. And we noticed that there was only one iron which was using by all the people on our floor. Because whenever we pass by the hallway we see the iron + stand outside the rooms. I strongly believe you should fix this.

The the bathroom and the room have a really bad smelling. I changed the room but the bad smelling seems to be in all rooms. I love to stay in ibis and I have been in ibis all around the world however this ibis al Barsha is different.

Just want to share my feedback regarding Tina? (The Indonesian front desk agent). We were recognized and called me by my name. And that is something that gave us a feeling of being special. We stayed many times at Ibis Al Barsha and I met her twice. Both occasions, Tina is such an oustanding staff. An attitude that all front desk agents must have when facing customers.
