« Relaxing Stopover in the lovely Cathedral City of Salisbury »

We spent one night at the White Hart hotel but would happily have stayed longer! We had a beautiful room, which had been comfortably laid out to accommodate us and our young son. We ate dinner at the hotel and it was very nice, although the menu was a little limited (hence not giving 10/10). It was tasty, though, and the portions were all very generous. Breakfast the next morning was perfect, with a superb choice of hot and cold items. We left feeling thoroughly refreshed, and a little bit spoilt. Thank you so much.

Always loved staying at the White Hart, but the room was both noisy and, being north-facing, extremely hot. To help customers sleep before about 2am, maybe the curtains could be kept drawn on summer days and/or a fan supplied?

The staff at the hotel are very cordial and keen to assist. The breakfasts are hearty with a good variety of choices. The room was nice however the floorboards in room 131 were quite loose and squeaky and the vents rather noisy. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped but no real complaints aside from the slight ledge in to the bathroom, I hit my foot on it several times until I remembered that it was not even. Minor things really.

Staff lovely , friendly and efficient. Charming garden, very pleasant sitting areas and bar. Gracious and old large dining room -all excellent. But our bedroom had a tiny so die, needing the light on at all times. Also a lot of traffic noise, though earplugs took care of that. Location perfect for visiting cathedral and car park a bonus.

The hotel was very suitable for my stay in Salisbury. Bedroom very dated , a noisy road outside especially as window open due to heat. I felt there was a lack of staff except in the dining room. The breakfasts were good. I would probably stay again if I needed to visit the city in the future but request a different room. Disappointing that there are no walk in showers.

THIS WAS A LAST MINUTE BOOKING . THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. IT WAS GOOD TO SEE MORE STAFF PRESENT AT BREAKFAST TIME. PREVIOUS STAYS HAS SHOWED THE RESTAURANT WAS PERHAPS UNDERMANNED AT BREAKFAST. THE ROOM WAS ADEQUATE. I DO WISH YOU'D CONSIDER SERVICE AT THE TABLE .. I WAS IN CORNWALL THE OTHER DAY AND THE HOTEL OPERATED THAT WAY. I DO FEEL ITS A BETTER CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE THAN SELF SERVICE.
