Hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. Hotel was immaculate clean and well maintained . Location was perfect for visiting the castle . Only negative was the service in the restaurant for evening dinner was slower than we had expected but the food at both dinner and breakfast was very good . I will be recommending this hotel to family and friends

Lovely touch providing slippers and a dressing gown in the rooms. We think it was the heating systems that were quite loud (even though we did not have ours on) and could not sleep. No hot water from the sink tap.

One of the best receptions ever, staff were welcoming and really helpful. Although early we were shown to a room, given help and advice on what to see and where to go. An excellent breakfast, once again staff made all the difference and In the evening bar staff were equally helpful.

« A more than pleasant stay at the Castle Hotel, Windsor with helpful and caring members of staff. »

We had booked a Superior Room and on arrival was more than happy with the room we were allocated. However, there was hardly any water coming from the wash basin tap. We reported this to Bruno Alves at Reception and we said we were happy to remain in the room if given some bottles of water. A phone call later, Bruno said he wanted our stay to be perfect and moved us to an even more beautiful room. He and his male assistant at Reception could not be more helpful and charming and made our stay memorable.

Our stay was great apart from in one of the rooms the sink was blocked and would not empty and in the other room there was a continual humming which we could only think was the air conditioning unit which was very noisy!

Room was lovely and spotlessly clean. Had everything you needed. Staff were always happy to help and extremely polite and friendly. Breakfast was very nice and the evening meal was perfect in every way from presentation to quality of the food. Would have no hesitation at staying here again.

This hotel is across from Windsor Castle and walking distance to both train stations in Windsor. The location is great and the staff we encountered were all polite and helpful. Toiletries were nice and the room was clean. This hotel is not new and a few things looked a bit worn. That said, we had a great experience and will stay again when we return to Windsor.

« Disappointing - having stayed here some years ago and having stayed in other hotels within the group »

Very average and disappointing. Room was tiny, on the final morning when I turned back the bedclothes, there was an ingrained stain on the duvet cover! I’ve stayed here before and others in your group - I don’t plan to return to this hotel and I’d think carefully about using others within the group especially if there are alternatives available The restaurant food was neither extensive or very good - we ate out the second night!
