Hotel lovely the only thing letting it down is dirty trays on floors in hallways up to our bedroom left for over one day near lift looked a mess and dirty tables not being cleared when we arrived and sat down for lunch most of tables had dirty plates cups on them looked a mess .my room was nice but bed kept moving away from wall .

The hotel is beautiful and so is the room. My father can not walk that much and he was out in a room that was the old carriage house. It was not really disabled friendly but he only stayed for one night so it was fine. It would have been better to have a room in the main part of the hotel.

Room was fine, breakfast excellent but dinner, in the private dining room, was poor. Whilst the service was extremely good the food quality was disappointing (note this is the second time in a couple of months and exactly the same experience ie good breakfast and lunch but really poor dinner).

« Less pleasant than the last one. »

This was my 2nd stay with Hotel. I could certainly say that the 1st was better and pleasant than the 2nd one. The room was too small. I had a single bed whereas my colleague was provided with a double bed for the same price. There was no hot water in my wash basin. Shower was leaking from few places. Though I could say it was not that troublesome but certainly less pleasant than the 1st stay.

The rooms and the service in the bar was very good. Unfortunately I was very cold for two days in the Sandringham suite, the heating in the conference rooms was insufficient.

The hotel is old and growing up in the area I aways wanted to stay in the hotel. Reception in great, the automatic doors need attention, a ramp would assit with cases. Stairs after a certain age are not good with a large number of suitcases although on arrival Jonathan was extremely helpful, over and above his role and departing again a lot of help with suitaces. The room 315 was a little on the small side and the wardrobe was miniscular for one person never mind two. The room could be best described as cramped. The location was great and quiet at night considering its central location. I had a good experience and it was all I expected but a little more attention could be given to people with large amounts of luggage and not that fit to cary them up steps.
