« Great value for money as usual but unfortunately just a few things were a little disappointing this time »

The staff were amazing and very helpful as usual but the updated room we were kindly given had high paint fumes in it we aired the room as much as possible but during the night my friend was violently ill because of the fumes. Food was really really good but I do miss the tea/coffee being brought to the table on first being seated that was a nice touch previously and I found this time that a mess and an unnecessary gathering met us at the tea and coffee dispensers also the hot breakfast food seemed to run out extremely quick this time and was quite slow in being replacedwhich is something that we have not experienced before, staffing issue? not sure but that aside everything else was amazing, we have been coming for a tleast 10 years and will continue. Thank you.

Reception staff very unprofessional. Own children were on site and getting told off or kept in a back room in front if us as guests. No space for us at dinner so had to traipse luggage to the restaurant to argue for a table.

« Staff good but just a bit disorganised. »

The staff were all pleasant, friendly and very helpful but there seemed to be a lack of organisation to make it a seamless experience. We even had one of the housekeeping staff knock our door late afternoon to put toiletries in the bathroom and a liner in the bin. There was also confusion over the menu we should choose from and on the first night we were not offered the vegetarian menu despite mentioning this need when booking in at the hotel.

Very hard to book, reservations never answer and didn't return our call to book (even though we left answer phone message). Tried three separate occasions and then booked online (paying £57 more than an email offer we had been sent). Could've easily given up and booked elsewhere.

« Excellent stay in comfortable and well run surroundings »

I stayed with my two young boys for a weekend for the second time at the hotel. The family room we stayed in was well appointed and ideal for a stay with younger children who were comfortable sleeping on a sofa bed. The swimming pool was a loverly facility. The food which we had from the bar menu in the evening and again at breakfast was excellent. All of the hotel staff were courteous and helpful. I expect that we shall stay again soon in the near future.

Good Morning. We have stayed at the Hotel several times usually an executive room. Chose on this occasion a Privilege Room which was a real mistake. Please speak with your front of desk manager as we did give feedback in regards to the room. Such basic errors and such a shame.

I know that there are improvement works happening at the moment but the way the hotel is running Does not make for a happy ‘guest experience’ I was there for 3 days, arriving at midday meant parking was very difficult to find, we were not given china mugs but cardboard takeaway alternatives which was disappointing. The room smelt of paint brush cleaner, but no painting had been done in the room. Work started in the corridor outside my room at 7.45 AM which is not acceptable, there was a ‘special football deal’ in the bar but NO veggie option.

Mixed experience. Nice airy room, but with security concerns as on ground floor with broken window handle and no safe. Fridge in room, but no bottled water. Accor gold card "perks" not recognised, other than free drink (i.e. no welcome gift or automatic room upgrade). Good gym and spa facilities. Restaurant food nice (though scallops small and overcooked), but service slow and sloppy (45 mins to get a starter out, in a less than half full restaurant).

Absolutely amazing. The wedding was perfect and we have given feedback to our co ordinator. The honeymoon suite was gorgeous, it’s just a shame we didn’t get more time to spend in it. A late check out or an extra night stay would have been nice. Also, we booked a disabled access room for my grandparents. They were very disappointed as it was very difficult to get my grandma around the hotel in the wheelchair and the room was not sufficiently equipped to meet their needs.

This was a welcome stop on our journey home. Lovely hotel but undergoing some refurbishment at the moment. The staff were very friendly and despite having a large party of tourists at the time we were attended to promptly. The only let down is the dining room which had no atmosphere and felt a bit like a school canteen due to the layout.

« Lovely hotel »

Loved this hotel, rooms were modern and super clean. Staff were helpful especially those in the restaurant. We stayed with friends on a 'Groupon' deal where dinner and breakfast and dinner was included. The dinner was fabulous and the staff were really nice. Breakfast was great too, again everyone was very helpful. Would definitely recommend to others.
