« Disappointing »

Had to ask twice for coffee at breakfast, then got tea. Waited 45 minutes for evening meal to arrive, meal was barely warm, plate was cold although food was good. No shower gel in room on 1st night stay. Pipes banging throughout night. Three machines in gym either broken or not working (two rowing and one bike).

Lovely hotel, no lock on bathroom door and had to hunt for socket for kettle. Wouldn't put me off returning though never had a chance to go to spa facilities.

First night room 230 was above kitchen so no sleep from there music playing till late then loud talking and banging from 5am!, dinner took 45 mins to cook when we had a resevation for 2 booked on the first night(both only had steak) breakfast was unorganised and we waited 10 mins for eggs/bacon and 15 mins for mushrooms, queue's of people waiting! 2nd night room change- shower head fell off and hit me in the face when I turned it off as the bracket was loose.

we booked to hold our wedding reception and a stay for 4 nights. Everything from planning our wedding to enjoying the facilities was perfect. All staff were helful, and went out of thier way to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Special thanks to Abi, Craig, Jodie, for looking after us and all bar staff & reception staff x

We stayed over as our friend had her wedding at the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was buffer style, good selection and hot. Only down side was the price of drinks in the bar, very over priced.

Staying to attend family funeral. Had e rooms. Taxi booked by Reception did not arrive. Hotel staff were fabulous but seriously let down by taxi company. Only just (t mins to spare!) Made my father's funeral. Was a sad event but staff were exceptional.

when I first arrived I was checked in promptly but the receptionist forgot to take my credit card details. when I went to the bar later I was told I didn't have credit so had to all the way back to my room 327 (the furthest from reception) to get my wallet. on day two my room key didn't work so again I had to go back to reception to find out they had only authorised the key for one night (I was staying for 3), another guest had the same problem. On this night I then ordered food from the bar, I waited 45 mins for my "half roast chicken", the wrong food was bought out so I questioned the bar staff 2minutes later the chicken turned up,..IT WAS RAW. I wasn't happy so ordered a steak which then turned up with just chips no mushroom or tomato. was not going to risk eating dinner again so 3rd night ate somewhere else. on this last night the air conditioning stopped working, I guess in the middle of the night as I woke up freezing. on checking out I thought I might get asked by reception how my stay was, so I could give some feedback, nobody asked anything, not even a "thanks for staying" just took my credit card details. Not sure staff understand they are working in the "Hospitality" industry, as not much hospitality here!

After a considerable wait in the bar we ordered an halloumi wrap only to be told some 45 minutes later that they had no halloumi! We were then given a cottage cheese wrap but charged for halloumi!! On checking out we were told that we couldn't have a printed invoice (but a copy would be emailed to us) so were unable to check the amount charged. At breakfast we ordered coffee and got tea and again had a long wait for eggs. Have to admit that the sausages were excellent

The hotel was lovely, food was good, but my room was above the kitchen and the music from it was unbearable. Across two days I had to call down to reception 3 Times to have the noise turned down

Dinner was lovely I had the Belly Pork. Room well furnished and comfortable. Staff were helpful. If I had been staying for a few days I would have been disappointed as there was a brick wall in from of my window. I was in Room 110.

« Nice hotel. Fantastic leisure facilities »

The hotel was fine but it does feel a little dated. Our room was nice but on a weekday the soundproofing on the window overlooking the adjacent road would have woefully inadequate. At the weekend it was not too noisy. The leisure facilities were fantastic. The pool, gym and spa were spotless. My only real gripe was the price of the drinks in the hotel bar - little wonder we were the only ones in there on a Friday night!
