Good stay, well trained staff provided professional welcome. Room 18 a bit of a roundabout route but help offered, and accepted, for bags. Room quiet and comfortable but drainage of basin plug poor and although reported not resolved! Ideal central location with parking. Brasserie offered good food.

lovely hotel in perfect location. Very friendly staff. Only two things you could do better. 1. Only one person on check in on a friday night at 6pm. Long process with 5 people queueing. Most unusual in a hotel of thius size in my experience. 2. Breakfast was very average. No museli, granola or oats etc and no vegetarian option for cooked breakfast - surely you could cook a vegi sausage !!

Friendly relaxed not time pressured staff, characterful rooms (loved the slopes) breakfast staff who managed allergies with no grumble. Will be back with my family for a holiday.

I stayed with my 14 year old daughter and you upgraded us which meant we had a more quiet room plus fluffy bathrobes. The people staying in the room next to us had the TV on loud which wasn't the hotels fault, but we did hear far too much through the walls! We stayed two nights. Your staff were very helpful. We had the cooked to order eggs florentine on the first morning which were perfection. The buffet breakfast which we had on the second morning was a disappointment after that, the fried eggs were solid and the bacon luke warm. We had been looking forward to a cream tea but the scone choice is only fruit scones so we didn't go ahead, it would have been the icing on our cake to have had a cream tea at the hotel but we didn't due to the limited choice. I will add that when I called the hotel to enquire about packages I was quoted quite a lot more than I was able to get on your own website. Also your emails inviting me to upgrade were annoying to the point of downright out of order as it included an invitation to pay extra for breakfast which was already in what I had booked.

« It was ok no wow factor on any level »

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was ok but needed some TLC and the bathroom had a dirty blind ( mould on it) staff were quick on acting on the issue and getting it cleaned but the bathroom door had a large splinter hanging off it by the handle as if the door had been forced open, breakfast was not great I would compare it to one you would expect from a premier inn

Dirty bedlinen, a bed requested that didn't arrive and when it did we were asked if we wanted a duvet with it?!! Not enough towels, poor concierge service waiting for him in the car park as instructed to show us where to park but he didn't arrive. Offered £17 off our bill. Very disappointing - now more so as our stay was on Monday and I still haven't heard from them having emailed Tuesday evening and requested a call on departure first thing Tuesday. Really poor.

The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. We found the room too warm and could not turn down the heating. Also the room safe did not work. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise at night from other guests and from outside the building which did not aid restful sleep. The best part was the Brasserie breakfast and our meal in there on one night was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Reception staff, more than helpful, Barmen very smart and attentive, nothing was a problem. The room was beautiful, a little dusty but nothing to worry about. I bruised my leg quite badly on the bath tub when getting out, perhaps a small had rail for assistance. We dined in the restaurant which was delicious and very good value. The whole of the hotel is beautiful, relaxing and friendly,

« We had a lovely time in bath. Just to see the city »

Hi. Well there two points I like point out. First was the room. It disabled room. As we not in a wheelchair yet. On arrival getting into our room there should have been flowers for which our daughter order for her mum. Mothers Day. Which I had to go ask for plus a bottle of wine too. Twice asked. But as for the rest yes very pleased with hotel.

Lovely hotel in central Bath, clean, good size rooms, nice deco. Staff friendly and welcoming. Only flaws ware that we couldn’t open window in our room (37) for some fresh air and our bed wasn’t a solid bed as on hotel’s website despite staying in a Sperior room.
