« I got food poisoning from the restaurant and had to go to hospital »

I had been travelling for nearly 2 months, and had been careful with what I ate the whole time. I was only in Singapore for a few days. On the first night I ate in the TASTE restaurant in the hotel, about 2 hours later I was vomiting and unable to keep water down.

Excellent stay as always! Rank checked me in with a new trainee. Both were friendly. Great to be acknowledged and welcomed back as a returning guest. It's really encouraging to see employees who used to work in difference departments moving around to the other departments within the hotel. The housekeeper who cleaned my room during my stay (Can't remember his name, I believed it started with M?) was extremely friendly and did a fantastic job servicing my room daily. I would like to commend him on his excellence!

Nice place in the middle of the city.. However the hotel staff didn’t do anything that was requested for the booking. They didn’t even bothered to inform the customer. It was our anniversary and hence we requested few things to be done and also offered to pay for it. On reaching there and asking them it seems they didn’t even bothered to read the note also. Hotel staff can do much better to make the customers special. The hotel has a lot of potential however with these kind of actions the opportunity to get a amazing feedback is lost. I would not come back and stay here again but would recommend others to stay as the locations and hotel is nice..

check in and check out process is fast, no hassle. need to pay a bit attention in room cleanliness, floor is a bit 'sticky'.. need to wear a hotel slipper in the room, need to be mopped since it was a parquette; duvet is not being patted; bathroom is ok. room number is 1240

The hotel is at a very convenient location for easy travelling to other scenic and fun places in Singapore. The quality of staff and service is in general quite good with the potential of continual improvement. Unlike some hotels, where staff and service quality stagnated or simply deteriorated or fluctuated quite badly.

Been staying in Ibis Bencoolen during the CNY period for past few years including this year. Check-in staff was great and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. The mini bar was complimentary during this period of stay which was great, however, housekeeping forgot to top it up during the daily cleaning so we were disappointed. It's also disappointing that ACCOR members were not able to use our membership discount for food and beverages during the CNY period. Other than that, our stay was pleasant as always. Kudos to the hotel staff for their hard work during the festive period.

Overall a better experience than my previous stay. The staff were quite helpful with check in, simple requests for a better room and check out time. While the gentlemen at the bar counter can do better with a smile instead of nearly always appearing to be stern and really serious looking.
