We were given a free upgrade, the staff were very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and modern, breakfast was well set up and a good selection of food, pool was available but we did not use it. We would use the hotel again.

From checking in to cold food. Then air conditioning leaking couldn’t sleep. Changed our room to then no tv working and to round it off a woman singing up and down the corridor at 05.10 hrs waking all the family including my children up , I never complain but this was an horrendous stay !!!!!!

Great customer service. Slight issue with paying incorrect room charge on arrival which didn't match emailed quote. Front desk rectified as soon as I realised I had paid too much. I requested at time of booking interconnecting rooms. The call handler said that they couldn't guarantee this but would request it. Upon arrival front desk said that they didn't have interconnecting rooms of the type specified. This should have been communicated to me at time of booking or perhaps a conversation about the types of interconnecting rooms. One of the rooms had a strong unpleasant smell on arrival but was clean. Eventually I discovered this was the smell of the varnish on the cupboard I think.

Hotel - clean and bright. Rooms large and comfortable. Food – Evening and Breakfast has a lot of choices. Staff – Helpful and friendly. Parking – Not so good but if you get there early you may be lucky.

As above really but one small niggle was that the shower did not drain very quickly and so I was paddling in water! My wife was supposed to be with me as it was our sons wedding but she was ill so it was only me.

I cannot fault the cleanliness of the room ... however the corridors were filthy and the staff very abrupt. I did not receive a warm welcome on arrival which I feel if the staff had been more helpful and polite would’ve made the trip a bit more special. I had been emailed before the trip to ask for my room preferences such as floor level, did I want to be near the lift, did I want a shower or bath ... the only one that they did was to give me a shower. I didn’t feel that reception were approachable so I did not lug my suitcases back down to reception to query. Overall for a trip I had booked thinking it would be a nice luxury stay I think I would’ve been better to avoid this hotel, it has really gone down hill over the years and I will not be returning.

I had a brief stay travelling between two holiday centres - it was a dreary day in Bristol, but the staff were warm and welcoming lifting what was otherwise just stop-over. I was upgraded to a premier room and made use of the lovely free-standing bath, which was delightfully relaxing.

We checked in smoothly and I had phoned ahead so wasn’t shocked by the car parking charges. The room was really large and comfortable, and all the staff were super helpful and made us feel very welcome with our 11 month old baby. It would have been good to know whether travel cots can be provided - information that wasn’t offered. The breakfast was superb!

I asked for twin beds I got a double. I explained my friend had not come, I was told I had already paid so nothing would be refunded. I know two twin rooms were unsold from the group booking people I joined for dinner. The shower in gym had rust an mould.

room was fine, not the best view but even though on main road there was very little noise. bed was comfy but pillows....... one was too low and two was too high but that was maybe just us. breakfast was ok, for a buffet staff everywhere were always excellent
