Extremely helpful staff who went the extra mile to assist in every way possible i.e. even saree tying as I had to wear it for a friend's wedding. Special mention and a huge thank you to Purabi and Divya who was always friendly and eager to make our Indian experience a fun and memorable one!

While Novotels in most places have been solid and comfortable, this hotel was noticeably better in most ways. There seemed to be a genuine interest to make customers very happy and frequent requests for feedback on how to improve. Breakfast food choices including a good spectrum of Indian and western choices. The room was quite comfortable and everything worked well. Quite pleased!

First day no one checked for laundry and after I spoke, the second day I had people ringing the door bell 4 times in a day for the laundry. Unfortunately I had a severe food poisoning after having the breakfast buffet. Must be the chicken sausages that were served on one the days that I choose to have breakfast. I had to be rushed to Apollo hospitals emergency and get myself administered by saline for dehydration and also with injection for pain killer and to stop my vomiting and motions.

Staff goes all out to make stay comfortable. Always courteous and smiling. Anything unavailable in the room was sent within a few minutes. Front desk staff (Name: Divya) even came early in the morning during her off-day to help us tie our saree. The hotel restaurant serves very good Indian food. Buffet food was limited but everything served tasted good. Will definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended!! Unfortunately, unable to claim membership points for staying at this hotel so hope Accorhotels can rectify that. Was also unable to highlight this issue through "contact us" form in the Accorhotels website.

Already checked in while booking and clearly mentioned for a smoking room with King size bed and unfortunately none of them are taken care eben with prior intimation and almost the check in time was 10 minutes after arrival at the reception!

I was made to feel really special and was well cared for during my stay here. The staff were very warm, friendly, caring and attentive and made my first trip without my family with me a much easier one. The only down side was that the pool onsite was under maintenance during my stay, with the complimentary option 20 minutes away.

Excellent stay ! only gripes were : 1) AC took couple hours to cool the room. Could've been better 2) Noticed some not so good glass cleaning on the window 3) Television could've been bigger Otherwise it was perfect all together !! otherwise perfect stay

I had a bad experience during my stay with Novotel Chennai. The In Room Dining service is something that you really need to improve upon. It’s very hard to get through someone at In room dining and if you could get through the service is very slow. As a matter of fact one of my in room dining never turned up. I have rebooked myself at Novotel for this week again as Vivanta is booked out but given a choice I will not prefer to go this experience again.

Right from Check-in till Check-out, we felt so connected with the staff around. Smiles round the corner, we were happily greeted anytime, everywhere. Never felt we were in a hotel. We experienced a homeliness in this hotel. The staff were guest-centric and friendly. They really mean it. Thumbs up to the entire staff! Keep going ahead! You can’t have a great hotel without great dedicated employees. Novotel has managed to have both. Ritu is amazing always greeted me with a smile and extreme enthusiasm Morning or evening. I do not remember the front desk employees names but were amazing as well. The security team out front same as every one I just described above.
