What makes Sofitel different from rest of the hotels is " Staff". Every team member I interacted with were full of warmth, genuine caring and forthcoming personalities. If I have to make a list of associates, then I am sure there is no end to it....but right from check in services ; Guest Relations lady May, FOM Hazem, Executive Chef- Indrajit, Restaurant personnel- Jalees, pool and life guards, spa therapists, club lounge personnel ; everyone was exceptional. The HK team did a Fab job in terms of room cleanliness, the band was just perfect for the brunch and an outstanding selection of food!!!! The attentiveness during brunch was just perfect!!! Every time I got up to pick up the food and arrived back ; the glass was filled with bubbly. Well Done team...Proud to have such passionate hoteliers!!! Keep it up.

I stayed in Sofitel as part of the Young Musician of the Gulf Competition. I loved my room and breakfast was great (I do remember tho that last year you were offering eggs benedict on breakfast menu). I was just disappointed my the dinner choices... I understand that this hotel was accommodating 120 kids, but kids don't only eat burgers, fries and pasta... I guess I just expected a bit more.

Very relaxing. Good food. Super breakfast. Lovely surroundings. Rooms were excellent. Health club was a also very good. Grounds well cared for. Friendly staff, helpful, knowledgeable. I was in Room 1333. The plug in the bathroom sink did not work very well. I wondered too if there were no-smoking rooms? I would like to have been asked in advance as even being next to a smoking room is unpleasant. My room did not smell of smoke but I sensed that people had smoked in this room in the past.
