The hotel location and facilities are superb, we arrived at 2,30pm and we could not manage to check in till 4pm, it was our anniversary and we found that not a good start!. During the waiting, I was expecting the receptionist to offer us a complementary cup of coffee till the room is available, but that did not happen. Food is great, taste and varieties. I suggest the music volume during the brunch to be lower and to train the receptionist to be more accommodating should cases of late check-in occur.

This has to be one of the better hotels for families with children. Thanks to Jason and his crew(Terri and Hanna) for taking such great care of our 2 grandsons. Great facilities:pool, water park, Kids' room and a decent beach. Life guards, waiters and waitresses were always polite and helpful when needed. Also a good selection of restaurants; European/Arab, Indian, Spanish and a very good Italian one. Finally, thanks to Maria (reception) for getting us a room on the ground floor, thus eliminating the risk of our 2 grandsons climping over the balcony. One negative: too much aircon.

The Concierge was amazing and helped me with everything I needed. The food was delicious. The only issue was my bathroom floors and edges of the walls looked old and had some chips missing from them which did not feel nice.

Especially the staff at the millésime Clublounge was very nice and helpful. Thank you again! The hotel, pool and beach were beautiful. We enjoyed playing tennis as well and we were fond of beeing provided water, towels, rackets, balls during training. The staff at the Amra bar was really nice as well! Only the service at the tapas bar was a bit strange...we wanted to have lunch there but it took a long time until we got the menue or were noticed at all. After additionally 10 minutes nobody had even asked us for drinks. So we left... and the restaurant was not crowded at all! But anyway, this was only an incidental note. Everything else was really enjoyable and we had a great time!

A warm welcome by a friendly and efficient staff at reception. A beautiful room with a lovely view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful especially at reception and on the cooking stations in the kitchen over breakfast. Other waiting staff could benefit from some tips from these members of staff. The Tempura restaurant was stunning and we enjoyed a relaxing time there. The pool area was delightful too. The only disappointment was the buffet dinner which fell short of the high standards elsewhere in the hotel. The breakfast however was great. Finally we thoroughly enjoyed the facilities of the beauty salon from such attentive staff. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

After a little hectic group checked in, our check in was smooth and I was excited to learn that we were upgraded and the room was ready even before 3pm :). Unfortunately I do not remember the gentleman's name who checked us in, anyway he was very friendly. The room and the balcony were perfect with a wonderful view. Pool & Beach are amazing and the pool is well temperated. The beach could be a little more maintained (cigarette buds and the little openers from soft drink cans lying around, which for sure were not from same day). The breakfast was well assorted and Chefs are eager to meet your preference for egg dishes and pancakes. We were not approached at our table on the terrace, so first thing, we went to the barista station and asked for coffee which was prepared and then served in no time. In order to get a second cup, I got up again, went to the station were one employee was about to leave to clear tables. He looked at me, did not say anything and left. Even if it is not his duty, at least acknowledge the guest and get a colleague for help. I decided to walk inside and ask for coffee which was prepared and served. Overall breakfast experience: buffet was great and chefs attentive, restaurant staff should be more professional in what they are doing and look out for guests and not the other way round. In the evening we went to Tapas Bar and sat outside on the terrace. Mary, our server, was very friendly and attentive, always finding a way to make us even more comfortable by not being too overwhelming - she's a star. We really enjoyed our evening there. Generally, our stay was wonderful and we got the relaxation we needed. If I get the chance, I would definitely come back or recommend it to friends.

منتجع جميل لعائلة صغيرة. الخدمات مثل المطاعم والمسابح والمسطحات الخضراء ونادي الاطفال متوفرة وجميلة. Great overall experience. The only comment I have is that the tempreture of the kids pool was so cold the kids were literally shivering and when life guard was asked he said the pool heater is out of service. Everything else were excellent service special thanks go to the Arabic coffee man Mr. Bolbol he was so courteous likewise all others resort staff.

Nice balance of good service, delicious food and arabic charm. the beach and sea is not perfect, but good enough for this region. we got half day excursion, thanks to concierge, he could find the russian speaking guide. We tested the food - beach bar is fine, lebanese restaurant is perfect, seafood restaurant is fine too, but only if you ask directly the chef to cook for you instead of using the menu. Only one disadvantage - expensive meal, we spent the similar amount as for the room.

Check in and check out was pretty fast. The room has a marvelous view. The kid club is amazing with so various toys and activities. The swimming pool and the beach was well-maintained and clean. The guards are doing good job. Everyone is smiling and helping. The breakfast is the best with various dishes and the service is amazing. The Saraya staff went beyond expectation and gave my daughter a gift which really was appreciated. All in all, one day is not enough and planning to have couple of days in the next visit.

Every detail was taken care of , the facilities on level 6 Exec Floor , the food and service was excellent and the team on this floor were most helpful. I would recommend staying at Sofitel Zallaq Bahrain
