I landed early at the pune airport and went to the hotel. Rules are you can get a free early check-in after 11 am. But on my request they arranged early check-in by 9 am itself. The staff is cordial and helpful.

A simple gesture like washing the car of a Guest can go a long way in building Hotel's reputation. Further, given that it was my wife's birthday which was communicated to the Hotel much in advance, expected a few gestures from the Hotel's end. While Cake was delivered, it was charged (which came as a surprise to me). The room could have been prepared in advance to surprise the person whose birthday was on that day.

Stayed at Novotel Pune from 31 July to 3 Aug. We also had a meeting at Jade 2. The hospitality was great, food was good & I stayed in the Clubroom. The Lounge was a great experience. Room service is always late! You have to call them thrice for getting thier attention. During the morning buffet, me n my mother found two hair's inside our food. Not concerned about that more then the fact that my mother was served a very cold tea! I doubt that the waiter was trained properly or not because even at the end of the meal when she asked for a finger bowl, the water was steaming hot and she could not even use it! In the afternoon, during lunch time when we came down to your restaraunt and ordered from your a-la-carte menu, a paneer lababdar, we were sent paneer makhanwala by your chef, who denied that he made a wrong dish, he said in novotel we make it like that. That reason was absolutely ridiculous. But later he made it right and sent it to us, but by then we were so famished we had to use the gravy he sent us before, so thay we dont die of hunger. We later also ordered one veg singapore noodle, which was completely bland and had no taste whatsover and was just cold. I don't understand how can all this happen in one day! The waiters do not come to your table and are very unattentive, you have to either wait or go to them personally to request something for yourselves. One waiter also did not allow me to sit on a table of six, when i even told him that my family is going to join me. He asked me to occupy a table which was for 2 or 4 people. In an almost empty restaraunt! And those table's were also very far from the buffet table. I later changed my table myself, because it took so long to walk to that buffet. The another disastrous thing was that Your valet whose name was, Rahul I think. I had requested him to bring my car up from the basement as there is no lift or stairs to go to my parking, to keep my bags in the trunk. He got so pissed at me that after I kept my bags he left towards the basement , slept in my car changed my A/c temperature, threw stuff from my car down near the leg space and left from his duty later on. When the other valet was present during my check out, he bought the car up, and I saw all the mishap that has happend inside my car. It was so disheartning! Thay someone could take revenge of such a small thing! I feel so bad. I rejected hyatt to come here, to novotel. I regret that decision now. Novotel is supposed to be so better then this! The only good thing about the hotel was the people you have kept in your lobby. Ms. Shraddha , helpes us alot in our accomadation. And she assisted us very well. I had high hopes from novotel and I hoped my family would enjoy our time, but it was rely an harassment for us. Im never coming back again!

I would like to bring 2 instance to address - Taxi Arrival Management needs to make note of the Vehicle Arrived and Guest Room number. which was not done and i had to call the customer care of Taxi to get the persons number as the Drivers Phone outgoing had issue this could be avoided by make note of the driver and Taxi details. but the Team attending this was Clueless. - Last day after Check out during morning breakfast time i had left the Baggage at reception after asking the procedure they told just to drop and collect it later but after returning from breakfast i was surprised that the person at reception asked me a coupon/Receipt of the baggage which earlier reception fellow didn't inform in spite of asking. - The TV was not something that i expected from novelette neither there was any information about News Channels or the TV guide that is User Friendly.
