stay was very good outstanding hospitalitity everything was perfect except the check in experience was bad. had done an online check in and requested for an early check in ... however we reached there at 11am and were made to wait for good two hours saying that room is not ready ...intially we were told it will be ready in 30 minutes...

« Awful hotel- avoid! »

We booked this hotel for wedding shopping, the experience was poor from the start when i had contacted the hotel to organise a transfer to receive no reply. Then when arrived we asked for both rooms to be on the same floor. We were advised at the time this was no available and we would be contacted as soon as we could move. For the entire duration we had hassle consistently with key cards not working in the lifts while travelling to and from both rooms, and numerous visits to reception to sort this to get very little help. We often saw reception staff huff as we approached stating the reoccurring problem. Despite the difficulties we were planning to extend our stay due to convenience and were initially advised there was capacity to do so, to then be told at the last minute the rooms had been taken and we had to move hotels. I had never been so glad to leave a hotel before, awful service! The only good thing about this place is Akshay from house keeping who always left something special in our room, apart from him this hotel is a disgrace!

We stayed at Novotel Juhu for 3nights, 1st day we asked to clean just the washroom since my sister wasn’t well, but after that no one bothered to come and clean our room in spite of we leaving the indicator on to clean the room and in spite of we asking the cleaners and front desk. We returned to a room that was left as it is for 8hrs. Then at 12am had to ask the front desk to send someone to clean at least the washrooms!! Another thing is the hotel room walls are paper thin! Our next door roomies were bunch of rowdies who were extremely loud and eventually we had to complain about the annoying noise! Only thing I have to say good about is that the employees are polite and helpful probably the only good thing. Location of course brings all the attention to this place... other than that it’s overpriced for the services and quality.. we paid approximately 40k for a 3 night stay we could have got better!

Overall stay was good, my only concern is the area facing the beach. As a guest of the hotel, one should not be restricted to not sit at a particular area so that the hotel can charge you a bomb.. we are a family of 4, and wanted to just enjoy the sea breeze and view.. there’s a sea facing area which has been made into a bar, to sit there one needs to pay 1200 per person.. there’s a grass area right in front of the bar, and the management doesn’t even allow the guests to sit there.. it was ridiculous.. To top it, the food and drinks are exorbitantly priced.. you should not be charging your guests a fee to sit in the hotel property.. I was highly disappointed!!
