Right from the check-in process we have had a terrible experience for our stay. I was standing in the queue for Accor Silver or above members and was asked to move to a regular queue by the person on the reception. I showed him the board they had put up along with my card, yet I was asked to shift queue!! When the hotel doesn't want to treat priority guests like one, its a disappointment. There was renovation work going on at the floors above ours, we weren't informed about the same prior to our stay, The constant noise was annoying, despite several requests made to tone it down, no attention was paid to it. The hand faucet was broken in the bathroom. The carpets in the room are worn out ... The room is not vacuumed properly. The beds are pretty uncomfortable for a hotel claiming itself as a 5* or 4* ... The windows were scheduled for cleaning on one of the days we picked to stay ... there goes the extra money paid for a sea-view room ... I can go on and on ... but the crux of the matter is that we were disappointed that we picked this hotel!

Every time I check in at this hotel, I will give my Accor membership no at the reception and they ensure that it’s updated and I will get points. But none of the time I get it. And I need to send email to customer care to get updated but not all the time it gets updated. So you need to take care when the reception team says updated , but it’s not true I do not get any update on Accor points. It was the same case for my nov 28th trip also. No points yet.

The rooms lacked maintenance. Taps leaking. Shower head dirty air conditioning did not work properly as it was controlled by reception office. Carpets were very dirty. Stained and not cleaned. TV was not working had to call maintenance people few times. Breakfast disappointing little variety and the room card key never worked. Reception unfriendly and get treated like untrustworthy.

I am a repeat customer and i come back because of the location, a positive energy in the hotel and some really good staff. There are flaws which repeat time and again. While during my last stay housekeeping was outstanding - usually a weak area - was down again and inconsistent particularly the folks in the evening. The front office is much better than before but I miss Priyanka - she was super. I am still waiting for my points to be recorded in my member account - a problem that Novotel Juhu repeats almost every time - don't know why. I had two consecutive stays - five nights and two nights. Only two nights show in my account, not the five other! The team at the Premier Lounge is exceptional, including the trainees. Bageecha is really good but the team at times have no clue of what they are serving. Having said all of this I do think the rooms are far better but the plumbing is a problem besides the drainage. As the water heads to the room door I landed up slipping badly. Yet, I had a really good stay as I love this property which is why I would rather give candid feedback as I will surely return. I also must thank the team for the upgrade. Also the manager at Square was helpful and Chandan at the lobby cafe is a star although I miss Zeeshan.

Check in - was difficult and time consuming, i didn't have problem to wait but it was like chaos and no one was there to take ownership, after 10-12 minutes someone appeared at another counter to call me there, till then i had asked 3 associates there and they plainly told me that they will inform shortly what to do as there was huge crowd at first counter, room was told that it has been upgraded but i hardly see any upgraded thing in that, basic aspects like face tissue, trash bags in trashcans, soaps were not there, TV was not working despite complain, Checkout - it was early morning, i had to literally wake up the person before he called some other person to handle check out, i requested thrice to send me soft copy of bill but even after 10 days, haven't received it, it certainly doesn't justify.

Over all good. But inspite of informing in writing and over phone, when Hotel called the room was not ready at 1.30 pm on arrival. Further the staff at reception checks in, take credit card and block money and after all formalities refuse to handover key as room is not ready. This has happened third time at this hotel. They should inform before check in only.

As a member I always prefer staying at accor. This time Novotel was a bit disappointing. All the key cards stopped working by the evening. Had to get them remagnetized practically every day. One day the door was jammed and the security was needed to thrust it open. The maintenance of the rooms is not in line with a 5 star property. The flooring of rooms is broken and specially bathroom fittings are extremely dirty and rusted. The first day the house keeping service was not good - none of the toiletries or the tissues were refilled. The TV stopped working and needed the electrician to be called. The most annoying part was that the construction work going on above started at 7 am in the morning which forced us to shift rooms up to the 7th floor. Even though promised that there would be no noise there, the same afternoon the banging of the construction labor had restarted. It is extremely unfair to allot rooms to guests if construction work is on in the hotel. All in all it wasn't the experience that I would pay for a 5 star property. Another issue is that your online members app prices is always different from what reservations gives out. It doesn't make sense that there is so much discrepancy in the rates. As a frequent Traveller even though I would love to add loyalty points to my card by staying with you - other 5 star properties offer better rates and I am obviosuly led to stay with them many-a-times. Staff behaviour was good as usual - courteous and helpful.
