Ibis Larco stay in a nice location, everething is near. Shopping, restaurants, change money, and the hotel staffy is educated. The hotel restaurant is a good option, good food and the bar have special drinks for happy hour.

« Good start to our holiday »

We arrived in Lima two days early for our tour and stayed at the ibis Lima Larco Miraflores ... it was in a good location, not far from the waterfront. The breakfast was adequate and the dinner we had there was very good. The staff were very helpful. The one negative was the person at the taxi/tour desk spoke no English so we had to get the front desk staff to relay our questions and the answers ... it is the first time we have experienced a main person with no English .. with our limited Spanish we can usually get our question across .. this time we had no way of communicating with assistance from the front desk staff who where exceptional helping us.

« Rather disappointing »

The customer service and treatment of the people working at the hotel counter was not at all satisfactory, and not as I was used from other Accor hotels that I have stayed at in Europe. They were not friendly, and rather rude. In the evening there was a DJ playing music in the hotel lobby. The music was way too loud, so that it was almost impossible to understand the hotel staff at the hotel counter.

The good: 1. Couldn't ask for a better location in Miraflores 2. Front desk staff were friendly and professional 3. Breakfast was adequate The bad: 1. Tiny room 2. Towels (1 bath towel per person; no hand towels or otherwise) 3. One waste basket in bathroom, that's it. (How much does it take to put a second waste basket in the room?)

« Check-in was a disaster with agents claiming that only one breakfast was due for rooms that had been booked for two people. »

This was the third visit. Had booked four rooms. Amount was wrong on balance due and agents refused to honor breakfast inclusion. A lovely way to end the day.
