« Great hotel with amazng facilities »

Very clean and tidy hotel, easy checks in and out. Special mention to the waitress Gabrielle and bar supervisor PJ over in the LCC. Fantastic service and friendly staff. The fact that the hotel is attatched to the LCC is a blessing for both food and entertainment.

Sop looking, this is one of the best if not the best in Liverpool. Food offered is also good (but the waitresses are sometimes overworked and can be careless) Front desk staffs are professionally trained to cater to all your needs if you drive, parking is free

Stayed at the Mecure Liverpool recently. This Hotel is amazing and has improved even further with the new accommodation wing now open. The staff are amazing. One to note was Petrice. An amazing young women who looked after our stay and every need. The facilities at the Hotel with the Club attached are also amazing. Great meals and activities for the children. A new children's playground is almost ready. Looks amazing. A great place to stay

The only let down of our stay was the in-house restaurant with poor service and very average food quality. One of the orders was completely messed up ordering a steak with fries and vegetables and a green vegetable plate for the middle of the table. We received steak with potato and salad with carrots for the middle of the table. No explanation was given apart from we are currently experiencing some technical difficulties in the kitchen. When we first arrived at reception the Mercure staff were nothing less than amazing, a testament to the great training and attitude, 10 out of 10. The rooms were beautiful and amongst the cleanest I have ever experienced in my business traveling life.(Very well done) thank you once again.

Check in was easy as usual. I am an AccorPlus member so expect this. Restaurant was full but while a table was being organised my wife and I went to the bar to use of drink vouchers. The service here was pathetic. Our voucher entitled us to beer, wine or soft drink. I explained that my wife doesn't drink beer or wine so could I have a small cocktail (we never have a problem with this at any other Accor Hotel). Answer was "No". I asked if pineapple juice was considered soft drink and the answer was "I don't know". So I asked that if I paid for a shot of Coconut Rum could I have it with pineapple juice? She didn't know. At this point I retrieved my vouchers and walked back to Reception to explain the predicament. The Manager phoned through and advised that a cocktail would be ok for us to have. Returning to the bar we were served by another girl who then proceeded to tell us there wasn't any cream to put with the cocktail and because they were too busy they couldn't get it from their storeroom. We said we didn't mind waiting while she went for it and then started using her hands in a defensive manner as if we were expecting something out of the ordinary. My wife said "Please don't put your hands up like that" to which the girl responded something along the lines that we were becoming aggressive. At this point we insisted that she go to the store room for the cream as we didn't care how busy she thought she was, we are paying guests who have asked for a service and expect it. Her whole demeanour left a lot to be desired. The redeeming point from here was from the Maitre De, Sue. After explaining to her what had just transpired, she was extremely sympathetic to our case and was a real gem. We stayed 2 nights at this Hotel and came back the next night for dinner with some family members. The service was very good and the food excellent. The girl from the bar the previous night was serving again and made out she didn't know us, but at least gave much better service than previously.

The staff were welcoming. Directions given were easy to follow. Room clean and liked the shower in the bathroom, although for me a techno-dinosaur I took a while to work out how to use the TV. Same with the lighting. I would have preferred original milk, not UHT but a small issue. I would have liked the milk replaced the next day as I am a tea & biscuits lady rather than a drinks fridge person. Overall I would happily recommend your hotel to anybody who asks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were most accommodating. The room was well presented, Clean and tidy. As we were attending a reunion in the adjoining Catholic club, staff helped us with temporary club membership. Then it was just a few elevator rides to and from the venue. Very convenient. « Meet my expectations. »

The TV gave me some grief on the first day, but speaking to your staff downstairs helped me greatly. The girls turned it on for me when I arrived back to my room. The next day I was more comfortable with the TV. The room way tidy and lift service I did not have to wait long going up or down.

I did not stay at the Hotel, we use the main function room at the Liverpool Catholic Club to hold a vocational services EXPO for school leavers who have a disability and we have used the club for this EXPO for many years. Michael Ligato and his team are always very helpful, friendly and accommodating. They ensure that all our needs/requirements are met and go out of their way to make sure that our day runs smoothly. Visitors and services and always happy with the location and facilities of the venue.

I recently stayed at Mercure Sydney Liverpool 22 May and again 27 May 2019. I had last stayed here over 12 months ago when extensions to the hotel were being carried out. I was extremely satisfied with the size of the room and modern inclusions. The rooms I stayed in very clean and comfortable and I will be definitely stay here again

It was a satisfying stay. I found it strange that there was no plates/ cutlery in the room I stayed in. I think adding 2 x side plates/ 2 x forks would be really helpful. Especially as I brought food in for one night but there was nothing to eat it on. One other small feedback is to please get lighter chairs in the room. the really heavy wooden chairs make so much noise scraping on the tiles. theyre so heavy too. Or put those felt things on the leg bottoms so they dont make such a racket. I think these little touches will help improve the experience. the room was lovely though - stayed with my parents in the king room and sofa and it was very comfortable.
