the breakfast is really good to start the day. the room was very cold at first (17 degree) and I was told it couldn't change due to stop of heat. then I got bad cold. But I found my peer complained the room was too warm... I changed a room in higher level and the room was much warmer (25 degree).... the swim pool is very small but I tried once. After swimming my skin was greatly allergic.

I had a good overall experience, but for a small point which I would like to express. I requested for late check out, which I am elegible for being an Accor member. I was told its only for Gold members, but they will allow it anyway as rooms are vacant. I feel the staff should be better informed about the members policy and now allow my request as a special favour to me.

« Not what you would expect for a Pullman Hotel »

The Concierge and Lounge staff were great! Friendly and helpful. However the air conditioning was not working in any of the rooms. Nothing was mentioned on the website about this - and we were told that it was because the hotel didn't run it certain times of year. Would of been nice to know in advance. When we booked we were told it was an online payment and thought that it had gone through, but found out on the day before our departure that it was still to come off the card. Also we were told that there was no credit on our room account so we had to clear our bill before we could make any more charges to our room. Having stayed with Accor for many years, and being a member for some time, it was disappointing as it was under the Pullman name.

« Run down hotel, not up to Pullman standards »

Air Conditioning system is sub-par. Although there is temperature control inside the room, it had no effect in changing room temperatures. Room temperature read 28-30 degrees with no way of lowering. Heard the front desk apologizing to other guests about the same issue. The water piping is also clogged in the bathroom. When showering, the water level rises to the ankles. My co-worker experienced the same scenario in his room as well.

« Bad start, nice finish. »

6 nights in Pullman. 2 nights in normal room and 4 nights twin beds room. This hotel is not as standard as international style. The 1st night in twin bed room was nightmare. The air was dry, the drain was jam, with over 1000 RMB price, didn't meet the price at all. After complain, the hotel manager offered a better room for us. Then everything was better. We were very satisfied at the end. Appreciate the service.

This was the second stay at the Pullman Beijing South hotel for business. After the first good experience last year, I decided to come back at the same hotel. Very good service, food is very good at the buffet and varies every day. Very nice people too and I want to especially praise Charley Cao who remembered me since last year and recommended to me the best landmarks to visit in Shanghai.

Breakfast is outstanding, rooms are quiet, large and well kept. Lobby is good. The only problem with the room was that the shower leaks onto the floor, wetting everything. I did not manage to prevent this. The fact that the sports area opens only at 6:00 or 6:30 is a problem for all people who start working early, or who have jet-lag and wake up early. This area should be open 24 /7

My stay was above average. The staff provided great service, especially Carter helping me get a cab to go shopping. I am allergic to Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), which limited what I could eat for breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant, however your staff helped me determine what I could eat. The king bed was a bit uncomfortable since it had sagged areas on each side but not in the middle. The shower did not drain well. House keeping did a nice job when I requested service. My room did not have stale or cigarette odors like it did at the Pullman north of Shenzhen.
