Loved the location by the Riverside....the hop on hop off ferry was just 5 mins walk...easy check in and check out....would love to stay again...

« Beautiful setting, quiet rooms, service a little slow »

I was very happy with the hotel facilities, the setting, the garden and the hotel room. I find the service at your hotel could be improved - almost every time, I had to ask for something 2 or 3 times before I received it. When sitting on the outside terrace in front of the pool, the waiters do not come to take orders. You have to go and look for them. Also, some drinking water dispensers on the room floors would be good as there was no water in the room.

Overall experience has been great. I appreciate the hotel providing free shuttle service to the nearest BTS station 1. Shuttle service to Krung Thon Buri BTS station (I have noticed was not fully utilized or maybe not all guests know about the shuttle service) 2. Would have been great if the shuttle could provide pickup service from Krung Thon Buri BTS on its way back to hotel. Great staff and teamwork, who work specially hard to cater to the needs of all the guests

« Worst Ibis in Bangkok »

I spend 4 nights here and this is one the worst service i ever experienced from Accor hotel. First of all, when i’m leaving the hotel to work, the security team ran toward and knock my car and assume i am free-rider who seek free parking after i just walk out from hotel lobby. They also demand me to pay fines for not having parking ticket which i never receive on any day When i return to hotel. So i guess they never register the vehicle and purely use their instinct to accuse their guest just because they didn’t drive a fancy car. Secondly, i was asking for few extra bottles of water, and the staff told me they will charge me 50 baht per bottle which leave me speechless. To sum up, it is the most expensive Ibis in bangkok just because it is located next to the river not the service quality provided.

The location is perfect near riverside , scenic views and close to bts station etc. Breakfast buffet has nothing for vegetarians with very limited options for non vegetarians also and almost same set of fruits to eat with curd everyday. Below average.

The Ibis Bangkok Riverside is one of my favorite Accor properties. I stayed here again and enjoyed the experience. Staff at the front desk and concierge are always helpful. The room is tidy, neat and functional and the river view rooms are great to watch the lights at night. The breakfast buffet can be taken outside looking over the river. There is a good sized pool for lap swimming or just a splash on a hot afternoon. Good selection of local restaurants within walking distance.

I love the view from this hotel. The swimming pool was great, the location was strategic if you want to explore tourist attraction near chaopraya river. There was a free tuktuk to get to bts station,but you have to get in quickly because many visitor want to use it. Maybe Ibis can add more tuktuk especially in holiday seasons.

Reception is poor. Staff are not clear, We paid through credit card while booking. But IBIS Had no clue or communication from booking agency. Again they took our credit card but assured us that they won't charge and it is only for guarantee the payment. We understand that this is a budget hotel. Otherwise facilities are ok.
