near to many food outlets, supermarket etc. But the morning buffet selections were limited for a 5 Star hotel standard e.g., there were no fried rice, noodles and even desserts like cakes which were basics dishes

Many things in the room were slightly broken and badly maintained. Pool not being included in the price is kind of rude. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

No executive lounge for Accor platinum and diamond members. Have to pay for toiletries & use of the pool. Lights in the room are too dim. Spread for breakfast very limited.

Hotel Quality Has Suffered, Poor Billing Practives

Hello, The Grand Mecure Changwon was once a great hotel, but is now Sub-Par. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last 5 years, and since COVID the service and hotel quality has fallen off. So much so, that this will be the last time I stay at Grand Mecure Changwon. Hotel quality issues: - Towels and linens are "worn" and "stained". - breakfast buffet reduced / options limited (this was a "star" item at Grand Mecure Pre-COVID) - Lobby shuts off power / blocks off common sitting area in "off hours", making it difficult to have a informal business conversation / - Poor billing practices During my stay I had to change my reservation (add a night) due to travel changes / customer needs. Instead of notifying me that the booking agency had two reservations for Monday, when I checked in on Sunday, the hotel staff told me at check-out and promptly charged me for the "missed night". Overall this was a 1 star stay, I will take my (and all my associates) business elsewhere.
