« Welcoming, comfortable and friendly »

We booked very last minute having been let down by an AirBnb cancellation nearby. Somewhat in crisis we were relived to find your hotel nearby and with spaces. We were greeted warmly and were pleased to find that the two rooms we had booked were side by side. The rooms were clean and comfortable although our room 101 had a disabled bathroom which was not especially to our liking. The shower head was broken and had to be held to wash which was not good.

We needed an overnight hotel for a local wedding. Our Ibis hotel room was affordable, clean and efficient. My only complaint was stepping in and out of our elavated tub for a shower was awkward and difficult.

« Sub standard stay at a higher rate »

Arrived on an Easter Sunday as planned. We were not advised that no food would be available that evening. Room allocated was fine at first glance, however, air conditioning did not work and this was something we made sure was available due to a health condition. Online booking advised that breakfast was included. This was the most basic ‘continental’ breakfast ever! I have never paid so much for a croissant and coffee. Staff were kind.

Due to the roadworks outside, which continued until nearly 3am I was unable to get much sleep. I questioned the reception staff of why I was give room 117 which is directly above the roadworks, I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and a smile, not what I expected. I had booked the room the day before and there was no mention of roadworks which would wreck your sleep.

Our stay at IBIS STYLE was what we would expect from an Ibis style hotel and the hotel was adequate but not exceptional. The hotel is geared for business style stays of their guests and meets those requirements without any outstanding experiences.

Wanted to spend a night before early morning flight out of Bordeaux that was delayed til late afternoon. Hotel would not allow cancellation less than 24hrs advanced notice. Place is surrounded by construction and difficult to get to. Service on check-in unfriendly but check-out pleasant. Room clean and adequate but unlikely to book Accor in future because of cancellation refusal.

Must be the worst Ibis Styles I have stayed in. Everything is worn and even broken - the shower in my room was leaking water and its fixation was broken, the coffee machine in the breakfast room was not working so I couldn't even get a coffee for breakfast. The breakfast area is small with terrible lighting, and breakfast menu is very poor. The carpets on the floors are very dirty and smelly. The staff is clearly not motivated to work here.
