Hotel was absolutely great. Perfect location, greatvroom, comfortable bed and good parking facilities. Really stupid design, mirror and hair drier behind the fixed end of the curtain. Towels in the bathroom not suitable for anyone under 5'4" to reach!!!!

« One night stand but it did the job! »

A disppointing start as when we went to our room we found the bed unmade, towels on the bathroom floor and rubbish in the bin - it clearly had not been serviced. We then were given another room but it was smaller and so we were disappointed as we had bike gear to stash.

« A reasonable stop over »

The hotel was ok and the breakfast was reasonable. We requested a quiet room and we got one. Parking immediately outside the hotel is difficult and has to be paid for (It is the only street in Calais where you have to pay. Parking in the square at the end of the road is good except on Market days

We used the hotel as a stopover for the ferry. On arriving we were assigned a room in the hotel annexe. This room was very small. The whole hotel had a very unfinished feel about it. The reception/breakfast area appeared to have had very little done to it from when it was a shop. A great disappointment for the Accor hotel chain.

« Good hotel and staff, but I was overcharged and have received extremely poor after sales service. Highly dissatisfied »

Hotel and staff were excellent. Fantastic breakfast and great value. However, I was charged twice for the stay without any discussion or explanation at the time. Trying to contact Accor to complain was almost impossible- their online form does not work and the only stated phone number is premium rate (13p per minute). This has wasted hours of my time. Despite complaining, I have still not been refunded or been given any compensation for my distress, cost and inconvenience and my emails have gone unanswered. Extremely poor customer service.

I've been checking few times, what was going on and clearly, from our side everything is good. You only paid 86.35€ . If you see on your bank statement twice this amount it's because we doing pre-authorization before your arrival but we are definetly sure we release this as soon as your departure. So now, best thing to do is see with your bank why thez still hold the monney. Please note that this problem was a true exception . Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem. All our efforts are concentrated in preventing future occurrences. I would like to reiterate our commitment to high quality standards, and I personally would like to make sure you will experience it during your next stay with us. « A nice place for G-parents and G-kids »

My wife and I and our 2 G-kids greatly enjoyed again our stay at Ibis Styles Calais. As before we were allocated the two level room with spiral staircase which was great. We all loved the brealkfast arrangements and the drinks in the foyer. The G-kids made good use of the pool table.. and willbe back again. Great stop to start a trip to Europe and enjoy food in nearby restaurants.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great - all the coffee I could drink! The location was fantastic. Close to the beach and close to the city center. Plus, there were cafes, a dry cleaner, a spa and small stores on the same block. I was extremely happy with the hotel.

Helpful staff. The family room was very good as the single bed was the other side of the bathroom enabling our granddaughter to sleep without being disturbed. Breakfast was well stocked.

The room and bathroom were better than we had expected and the breakfast offered greater variety than we had thought it might. Staff were very helpful to us in storing our bicycles. All staff were pleasant and helpful.
