« It fell short. »

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reason this stay fell short for me though was that the internet service was not working during the time period of my stay. I choose to stay with hotel chains based on the consistency of services offered. I expected to have a working wi-fi connection during my stay included in the room price. I was informed upon check in that the wi-fi was dysfunctional and would not be available during my stay. No discount in the room rate was provided. In summary, what was delivered fell short of what was promised. The rest of my stay with this hotel was as expected. Thank you for the chance to comment on this.

The rooms were clean, staff was nice, breakfast was good. Our group had 3 rooms and over our stay, 2 of the 3 rooms had the door wide open when we came back from the day out. We know for a fact that we closed these doors behind us when we left. We alerted front desk staff both times but didn’t hear any follow up on the why. This was pretty disconcerting to us that it happened not once but twice during our stay.

I have used this hotel for most of my business visits to Bangkok over the last 15 years. The bathrooms could be equipped with some more shelves for toiletry when there are more than one guest. As a Norwegian I am missing herring and cheese for breakfast, but I realize that you cannot satisfy all world's tongues. The hotel is ok for me, it is offering what I need for my business trips

I received a welcome drink coupon worth 80 bhat. I wanted drink priced at 100 bhat. NO Flexibility!!! I offered to pay the difference, 20 bhat. NO! Left me with a feeling that I was not welcome. I went to the new Novotel up the street. Big hello every time. In My Ibis hotel, never. Hello. No feelings of welcome that was so positive in years past. Current management doesn’t care to train staff. Very sad compared with years past. Only bell boys said hello.

Loved staying at this hotel. Clean bedding, towels, room and shower. Bed also lovely to sleep on. Everyone is friendly and tries to assist, amidst the language barrier. Only one recommendation to Accor Hotels group in general - PLEASE make mention of the refundable deposit on the booking page. It is very nice to say that it is in the terms and conditions. Terms and conditions are important to read yes and is usually general knowledge as well (no smoking in rooms etc). The refundable deposit, should be brought out into the open just a little bit more. Other than that, really lovely stay!

Front desk, cafe staff are nice and friendly. Housekeeping is surprisingly poor. When I came back at night, floor towel not replaced, mugs not washed, shower head still dropped off as I left it before in the morning.. Other than that, it is a good Ibis.. Lobby will be better if there is some renovation, chairs in the lounge are very tiring..

Overall is a good Ibis. Breakfast is good as a Ibis with good coffee. Housekeeping did not clean my cups, the shower head has dropped to the floor and Still not put in place when I come back. The floor towel did not replace a new one. Poor Housekeeping in a Ibis.. Front desk and cafe staff are all good and helpful .

« Lacking a warm welcome »

The staff were rude, untrained and didn't know how to treat customers let alone platinum status holders. My card details were entered as a pay online option but the hotel insisted on asking me to give details again via an authorization form. I had stated my friend would check in first on a 14 day booking followed by me but the staff disregard this and no night stays were added to my account.

« just disgusting with indina people noise and food manners »

I stayed here before but never again I had 3 night of complaining to reception about the noise from Indian people shouting and yelling in the early hours of the morning, and plus there food manners are disgusting picking food up with there hands dropping food on the floor all the staff are fed up with them. never again will I stay here

« A LITTLE DECONCERATED »

We stay very often at Ibis Nana and have always been very satisfied. For the first time we had a problem during the check in. I reserve and pay the room in advance on the site accornet but on my arrival, the staff did not want to know and forced me to repay in cash my stay because they did not see on the computer system my settlement. I insisted but nothing, nothing did. Since the new Novotel / Ibis has opened in the same street, the entire front office team has changed and really it is not a very good idea. There was no acknowledgment or excuse when the next day I could make them see that my payment had been made. On the other hand, the two concierges and the F & B staff are the same and their attitude is always warm and professional. They saved our stay because I was ready to change hotel immediately
