« Great experience »

Very comfortable and organized. Nice swimming pool, breakfast is simple but good. The only downside is the wait time for the elevators (there are not many elevators for a 29 floors building)

« Rather disappointing »

I understand being in a high seasonal period, as carnival, can be quite demanding for a hotel, however for a Mercure level my expectations were that many issues would be handled professionally, examples are: - the police was called for handling a disturbing guest whom was playing extremely loud music in the room in our floor; Couldn't the Management of the hotel handle the situation without having to call the police? We have seen this situation at our arrival to our room. - none was at the reception to receive and help us with our luggage's; the explanation was that they had just received a big number of guests; - staff at breakfast was not pleasant; no good-mornings, no smiles - I know its hard to be working during carnival, but the guests cannot be blamed because of that; - what is the issue with the pao de queijo at the breakfast? why does the staff need to come around serving it? couldn't it be placed at the breakfast buffet for people to serve themselves? At least, that is how other hotels do it. - the hotel has a voltage of 127V, and no equipment's available to transform a 220V into 127V. Please remember that foreigners come as well, and their hairdryer can very likely be a 220V. The small hairdryers at the hotel are hopeless.

It was not the first time that my wife and I suffered with the noise around the hotel .. and that last time the guests of rooms on the same floor of mine made a lot of noise in the middle of the night. Poor sleep quality.

« Noisy and non sense party »

I had the unhappy idea to dine at the hotel restaurant around 8:00 p.m. and I chose the menu of the week which was actually delicious. But what happened at the bar by the restaurant spoiled all my meal and the other ones in other tables. At the bar happened an event or meeting that looked like a dancing party or a dancing class, what of course is not a problem at all, except by the music being so loud that bothered everyone in the restaurant. I tried to change my table without improvement, and the waiter to said that nothing could be done. At the front desk I was informed the restaurant and bar services are performed by a third part and they could do anything about it (what happens every week!). The music was so loud that it was heard at elevators hall, about 50 m away and talking at reception hall was possible only if you yell. Completely at odds with Accor Hotels and undoubtedly unknown to the network managers. I make criticism as a way to evolve in this underdeveloped and amateur mode of hosting in this unit and respectfully await response. I am sure that I will receive a brief reply and I will not be obligated to report this absurdity in the trip evaluation and lodging websites. Att.

Hi there, the stay was fine - the room was nice and the beds comfortable. The elevators just seem to take forever to get to you when you ask for it. i liked the veranda that was a plus for me, so im happy with my overnight stay at the hotel.
