Overall the hotel was good. The room was small but functional , don't like the hospital style table over your bed. Disappointed with checkin , even though we arrived after the checkin time of 3pm (arrived at 3;45) we still needed to wait for 30-45 mins for your room (others were waiting). We had a table booked for 5pm and we had planned to see a show so it seemed very rushed . No drink offered or even an apology Breakfast ok but not great selection . Location is good, easy to travel into the city plus Borough market is close

Great hotel near Southwark Bridge. Easy to find and close to many London attractions. Quick check in by friendly staff. I had asked for a quiet room on a higher floor and we had just that - a room on the fourth floor at the back with a perfect view of the Shard. I am a light sleeper but slept perfectly both nights of our stay. Rooms were really well soundproofed and doors closed quietly. The bed was really comfy with additional pillows provided. Breakfast was a continental buffet and was constantly replenished. All staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we are in London.

Reception experience good, room comfortable - if decor rather odd - but WiFi a problem as kept dropping out. Not good enough in this day and age.
