We checked in the hotel for attending an event in Saigon, the hotel was excellent, and breakfast was just super nice, and delicious, worth every penny. My mobile phone got robbed near the hotel by a man on a motor cycle, the hotel people escorted me to the police station to report the incidence, and at night, the hotel people sent me a candle and beer and a lovely note to comfort me, I love the staffs in the hotel. The incidence of my mobile phone robbed was a disaster, but the hotel staffs made such a big difference after all by comforting me and showing their deep concerns, they did not have to do anything for somebody else's fault, I am totally removed by these lovely staffs, I want to thank all of you who are working for Pullman Hotel Saigon Center, your kindness changed my bad impression towards Saigon and Vietnamese.

I love the breakfast especially the Juice station and noodles station. During my last stay, there was the same kind of noodles everyday and I could only have them for the first 2-3 days. This time was totally different. I was excited to try different kinds of noodles each day, all were great.

Great. Service and facilities great. The only thing that did NOT work was the internet. The internet connection was poor over the entire duration of my stay. I requested support from the IT person however there was no improvement. The connection was inconsistent. Sometimes good, sometimes drop out. This is unworkable for our business situation where we have many video conference calls early mornings and nights.

The hotel was good, although a little further away from the central shopping area than I expected. The room was well appointed, clean and quiet. Although it had a smell of mould (I'm very sensitive) it was likely due to painting over mould in the past, rather than an active mould (this is also a problem in many Australian hotels in tropical areas). I had a few minor issues with the room (hair dryer and magnifying mirror did not work). Reception arranged for the hair dryer to be fixed, however the mirror, with new batteries, still did not provide enough lighting. Due to the large privacy (?) hanging wall and other lighting, I found the bathroom to be quite dark and hard to use either mirror for applying makeup. One major disappointment for me (which wasn't the hotel's fault) was the final taxi ride to the airport. The conceirge hailed me a Vinasun taxi and when I enquired he told me the cost to the airport should be under 200,000 dong and there would be a 10,000 dong airport fee. Upon arrival, I needed to find change as the taxi driver could not take a 500,000 dong note. He was slighly abrupt on this and expected me to take all my luggage with me to find change. I changed the note and asked him the fee (we were away from the taxi at this time) he told me 200,000. The meter had read 153,000 in the taxi, so I stayed firm and said no to 200,000. Eventully I gave him 165,000, even though he was trying to get more. This was not a nice way to finish my stay in Vietnam, so if Pullman can pass this feedback onto Vinasun it would be appreciated.

To say that the Pullman exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. The location is great if, like us, you enjoy walking to discover a city. They do, however, offer a free shuttle to key tourist spots. On arrival, we were greeted warmly and escorted up to the Club Lounge, where we were given a glass of sparkling wine while we checked in. We were then taken to our fabulous suite, which was enormous, featuring a plush lounge room, wet bar, dining table, two toilets, a comfortable bedroom and walk in wardrobe. The bathroom featured a huge rainwater shower, a separate bath tub and a television. There were spectacular views from all the full length windows. As a platinum Le Club Accor member I received a very generous room upgrade, sweet treats, drink vouchers (which we used at the rooftop bar), late check out and access to the Executive Lounge. Afternoon tea in the lounge was more like a full lunch, with soup, rolls, hot dishes, and a choice of desserts. Evening canapes included elegant hors d'oeuvres, a cheese platter and hot choices, as well as specially prepared goodies brought to the table. There was also a free flow of beer, spirits and wine (including sparkling). Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, with an egg station, a choice of freshly made juices, bakery items and Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese specialities. All members of staff we met from front of house and housekeeping to management and waitstaff in the lounge and restaurant were exemplary, being both friendly and efficient. Pre-stay emails were answered promptly and all requests granted.

I was fortunate enough to stay at The Pullman after some thorough research from home, and was still astounded by the service and the facilities! As a lone female traveller I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The staff were extraordinarily kind in assisting me with my search for the best grass-roots local cuisine and fresh beer, and facilitating some amazing experiences touring through the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnels. My room was phenomenal, 25th floor overseeing the entire city and I was a regular very early am user of the gym and pool facilities. Both of these outdid my expectations ten-fold with a fantastic array of suitable strength and aerobic equipment, which is refreshing in a hotel. The rooftop bar is the best in town and a lovely end to a busy day exploring the town. My room and amenities were wonderful and met my every need. Will be coming back here on my return to Vietnam!

always feel good staying in Pullman Saigon even i can have other choices to stay near my customer's office. the team at the VIP lounge did a fantastic job under Emily's leadership. I get the privileges to use the VIP as Im a Accor Gold member. the lounge is always very clean and proper displayed. the quality of the food choices is wide as there are the extra menu for a good decent meal compared to other hotels' lounges.
