The hotel is beautiful. The views from our room were beautiful looking out over the Navy ship yard. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff, as is customary of the Japanese, were kind, courteous and hospitable. Would defined recommend this hotel!

Short stay, slept well. My flight was delayed and I missed my check in time at another hotel. There were no English speaking hotels within 40km with rooms available. Thankfully Tetsuya at Mercure saved me and was able to book me a room after 1200 and checked me in at 0300. Thank you so much, I don't know what I would've done without your help!

The service is excellent in ALL departments of the hotel. The front desk, the morning staff at the Le Bistrot de Bourgogne, the staff at the 1st floor cafe, the cleaning staff. All have been making my stay here most enjoyable. It is because of the great service, that I asked my employer if I could stay here this year because the service I received last year was so memorable.

Friendly check in service, convenient location, clean. Room is a little small but you are getting a reasonable price. More English information should be made available on restaurants. Checkout was fast but would have liked more interaction such as how was your visit and explanation of billing receipt.
