The room was ok but I am highly disappointed with the service at the Breakfast venue. Every day I had to wait 10-15 mins to get a seat for my breakfast. The staffs were inefficient and disoriented! The menu was so poor! It is highly disappointing that how a international chain hotel's service could be like this! We were total 27 guests and our rooms were booked long before. But when we checked in, one of our member had to wait for hours to get the room key. Some of us asked support for checking the weight of our luggage but the hotel provided 'weight machine' for measuring human weight!!! Which also too hours!!! Plz improve your services. I have seen Novotel in Thailand also. That was better with its service!

« Asked me to pay extra to get the same room I had already prepaid »

Hotel simply not as advertised and certainly not up to international standard. Supposed to have WiFi in the room, but there wasn’t (or at least it didn’t work). I had prepaid for - specially - a room with two beds, guaranteed, not “requested”, and the check in staff told me the hotel was completely sold out (a lie) and rooms with two beds were not available. They offered to CHARGE ME to put a roll-away bed in a standard room- so now that’s an inferior room to what I booked AND I get to pay extra for the privilege? Extremely unprofessional. After waiting about 40 minutes at the front desk and refusing to leave until I was given the room I actually booked and prepaid, and then - surprise surprise - it turns out the hotel was not in fact completely sold out and my original room was available and ready.

The reception phone number given on the Novotel connect number from the Room intercom was not picked up by anyone although it was late in the night around 1.00pm as I wanted to book the transport to airport and wake up alarm.

It was ok. Room was a bit smelly. The table has marks of smoking. It was a smoking room but the window didn't open. Shower area didn't have a place to keep shampoo.

I have been staying in this hotel many times in the past while traveling in India. I always choose it because of its location and service. Unfortunately this time i have witnessed the decline of the service and the overall maintenance for the hotel. 1) the dining room service for breakfast is poor: an appropriate number of waiters are there but they are lead well by their supervisors ( talking between themself in a corner ) tables are not set , orders takes forever... 2) breakfast selection has been downgraded, watery “fresh “ orange juice, cheese and ham selection went down. 3) carpet on floors in room and corridors is old dirty and coming up creating tripping hazards. 4) we stayed in hotel 2 days. Never seen housekeeping . He/she never cleaned our room despite the light was activated. 5) being personnel not always available the luggage delivery was super slow. In short, being the hotel located near by the airport is a big plus but the decline of service/food/maintenance is evident making the hotel not longer a good choice for the prize. Not coming back in this hotel in future :-(

Expected a lot from Novotel but fell short. Breakfast was a mess with no food in the dishes and chaotic employees running helter skelter. Gave the feedback to the manager and some improvement in day 3 of my stay but they still struggled to get a hang of managing guests during peak hours

Hello Team, I had done this booking for my 75 year old parents who were travelling from Toronto to Jammu, with a night stay in New Delhi at your hotel. I had done this booking in April & provided my mastercard to the front desk person (over phone). While the booking was confirmed long back in April but when my parents checked-in on night of 3rd Nov, the front desk lady asked my dad for the payment mode (whether cash or card). Ques: 1- When your team already had my mastercard on file, why did you ask my dad for the payment? 2- Do you think I provided the credit card details to your team just for fun? 3- If it is your process not to charge the same credit card (which was provided at the time of booking), then did you ever attempt to ask the requester (me) on mode of payment when the guests check-in? This was really embarrassing for my parents as well for me. Due to this incident, I don’t think I will do any future bookings with Novotel. I expect a response on this grievance of mine.
