Very welcoming and accommodating for our bikes. This hotel is recommended on cycling websites as being good for cyclists.

« There is a lot of refurbishment work goin on. »

I wish I had known about the refurbishment. The air conditioning in the room was too noisy to leave on overnight. The toilet flushed with hot water, not good if you flush while sitting down. Towels were old and threadbare. Breakfast was ok, and staff friendly. After staying with you I moved to the Ibis Styles in Toulouse, such a difference.

Staff excellent. The room was lovely and cool so it was a pleasure coming in to the hotel. We were there during very hot weather in France. The breakfast was excellent. It was a particularly nice gesture having a kettle with tea and coffee in the lobby. It was a touch which is missing in other hotels.

« Bitten by bed bugs »

Dreadful. After just one night we were bitten to death by bed bugs! At first thought it was mosquitoes but after consulting a pharmacist and comparing the bites to online images it was clear that it was not mosquitoes but bed bugs. Receptionist tried to deny this but refunded our 3rd night and we moved to the Ibis budget. Do not stay at this bug ridden hotel.

In general almost all Ibis Hotels, regardless of brand have very bad Beds. It is almost as if you about fall off the bed in middle of the night, if you move just a little. Also most of the hotels, the carpet on the floors, makes for dirty experience. You never know how clean the place is.

« Very good apart from one disappointment »

I have stayed here many times before, always made to feel welcome and at home. This time was no different except that upon returning to the hotel after dinner I was told that the bar was closed at 10 pm, very early by any standards. I then had to give my money to a nearby bistro that did wish to serve me. Maybe I would understand if it was 11pm but straight after dinner at 10 pm is far too early for people on holiday visiting the city. The night duty staff I found very different to the very welcoming and pleasant day staff.

Good but basic room & breakfast, I chose fast check in & pre pay option as travelling with a young family I wanted to ensure things went smoothly, on checking out The receptionist detained us for 15 minutes, she repeatedly told me my payment was no good & insisted I pay again, when I showed her my email and refused to pay again, she realised her mistake, she offered no apology, she was rude and nasty in front of my young children, this ruined our experience, I sent an email of complaint to management but received no response

Basic hotel but perfect for our first visit to Bordeaux. So close to rail and tram services. Only in hotel for sleep and breakfast so it was very satisfactory.
