Very central to the centre of town, just a few minutes on the tram. Staff very helpful and spoke enough English to help!!

« Disappointing stays »

We stayed at this hotel twice in one week. While the rooms were ok and breakfast good other things were not. New plastic mattress protectors were uncomfortable to sleep on- noisy and made us perspire making it difficult to sleep. Bathroom doors in both the rooms we stayed in, 110 & 321, squeaked terribly, which disturbed our respective sleeping partner. And lastly, there was a horrible smell on the third floor that smelled like sewer gases! When we told the staff they response that they thought it smelled like cats! No solution was offered. Other times there was a strong smell of paint thinner or perhaps nail polish, primarily in the lobby. Most of the staff were helpful but this hotel needs some serious loving care to have it live up to Accor standards.

Hotel is well situated in central Bordeaux, however, when we checked in, there was some building work at the main entrance. This was extremely noisy and annoying. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. As I was staying with my family, the bedroom was spacious and clean. The bathroom was the negative part as the walking shower and the sink were blocked. We reported it to the reception when we left the next day. Unfortunetaly, as our stay was only for one night, we were happy to leave the next morning. Our experience in this hotel was not great.

« There is a lot of refurbishment work goin on. »

I wish I had known about the refurbishment. The air conditioning in the room was too noisy to leave on overnight. The toilet flushed with hot water, not good if you flush while sitting down. Towels were old and threadbare. Breakfast was ok, and staff friendly. After staying with you I moved to the Ibis Styles in Toulouse, such a difference.

Staff excellent. The room was lovely and cool so it was a pleasure coming in to the hotel. We were there during very hot weather in France. The breakfast was excellent. It was a particularly nice gesture having a kettle with tea and coffee in the lobby. It was a touch which is missing in other hotels.

Dreadful. After just one night we were bitten to death by bed bugs! At first thought it was mosquitoes but after consulting a pharmacist and comparing the bites to online images it was clear that it was not mosquitoes but bed bugs. Receptionist tried to deny this but refunded our 3rd night and we moved to the Ibis budget. Do not stay at this bug ridden hotel.
