Very good experience. Room was clean with a newly refurbished bathroom. Only feedback would be to have a microwave made available in the room. That would have made my stay a 10/10.

good, the rooms were good parking was really good right in front of the room, the globe went in the bedside lamp, i left a note but it didn't get replace, maybe I should have rang reception.

« Less than average due to very poor service and meal in dining room. »

The room was clean and well presented. I had dinner in the restaraunt, then things went downhill. Once i ordered my meal around 70 minutes later i was asked how everything was going, i informed the server that i hadnt yet got my meal. They went and checked and brought my meal out about 10 mins later. It was a gnocci and vegetables. It had around 8 pieces of gnocci NB the gnocci had been cut in half to increase the amount on the plate. Very disappointing. Then i had desert of caramelised apple and blueberry tart. The apple looked like stewed apple out of a can with 3 or 4 blue berries on top. Again not what was described on the menu. Wait staff did apologise for the main meal delay but made no effort to offer any sort of reason or offer of compensation for the poor service. Extremely poor effort from kitchen and wait staff on this. Communication and quality and outcome should have been managed better.

It looked like the room had recently been renovated with new bathroom and carpet which was very nice. It was therefore very clean and the bedding was also very crisp and clean with comfy bed and newish pillows. The down side was the lack of bedside lighting but overall it was a comfortable stay and I have no complaints.

« Clean tidy comfortable »

good price location great for what we needed. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Dinner in restaurant was nice steak cooked just right. The only negative was wait staff in restaurant was a little slow to seat us and also once we got our meal didn’t really see them again for extra drinks or dessert.

« Not the experience I was hoping for »

Initially I was very disappointed with the room I had booked. I chose the Ibis because I thought all rooms would be of a certain standard however my room was definitely substandard. I tried to change rooms but unfortunately everything was booked out. When I went to dry myself after having a shower, I dried my face with a towel that had a stain on it which appeared to be poo. I informed the receptionist when leaving who didn’t appear to think it was a big deal.

The experience was overall satisfactory for a short stay weekend. Breakfast was delicious although it was a bit steep to pay $11 for my daughter to have some toast as she doesn’t eat a huge amount. The staff are friendly and always willing to help or answer queries. Room was clean and fresh. The laundry area was so expensive. Costing $5.00 to use the washing machine then pay $2 for a small laundry sachet, with only one tiny machine and one tumble dryer to service such a busy motel. I feel you need to improve greatly with upgrading the laundry.

The stay was ok the room was generally clean. I was really disappointed with my initial booking. Admittedly I initially booked the wrong weekend with Expedia. When I went to rebook I was told I could only get a superior double. I was happy to pay the upgrade which from Trivago (a number of sites) said it would be about an extra $35 dollars per night. For some reason I was charged an extra $40 as well. As I couldn't get a refund I really felt I had no options. Not sure if this was the hotel or Expedia. Disappointing.
