The room was surprisingly spacious and while the mattress was on the hard side, they have an option for you to add a mattress topper if you find it too uncomfortable. Check-in and out was fuss free. The breakfast buffet was somewhat lacking in variety though there's room for improvement.

This was the second time to Hong Kong. But I didn't know this hotel really really good quality good price. We arrived 11 pm but we can check in very fast. Room quality was also nice and we had comfortable time here.

Excellent location for shopping and Macau ferry and Sheung Wan MTR within walking distance. All staff helpful and friendly especially breakfast team. Housekeeping even phoned us when we had put Do Not Disturb on door to make sure we didn’t need anything, excellent service.

Location is very nice! It’s very close to the old part of HongKong, to the sightseeing spots, to the ferry terminal just 10 minutes walk, the bus station to the airport is extremely close, just 2 minutes. That even seemed much more convenient to take a bus to the airport than express train, ‘Cause the bus station is so close to the hotel. When we went to Lantau island for the Big Buddha we also used that bus station.

It was a really good experience. First of all the location of the hotel is very good. It’s simply in the center and there are many shops(7/11) exchange offices and ATMs around.Morevoer, the MTR metro station is around 10 mins by foot and it’s really easy to find your way from station to hotel. The location was simply amazing, close to Soho and Hollywood road, where you can find great traditional and international restaurants, pubs and night clubs.What is more, it’s also really easy to use the ferry to Kowloon and to Macau, since the ferry terminals simply just nearby the hotel.In addition having a Starbucks just in the entrance of the building is great as well. Secondly, the rooms are-comparing Hong Kong’s room standards- quite good and really clean. Providing two bottles of water, coffee, tea, toothbrush and toothpaste was really cool.Its not common to see this in other Ibis hotels . Thirdly, its not only perfect for a short stay, but also for a long stay (around a week) too. The breakfast buffet is really good. You can find a mix from European and Asian food. It’s definitely worth to book during your stay. To sum up, the crew was really cooperative and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend staying at IBIS HONG KONG Central Sheung Wan.

I was introduced to an ocean theamed room, which lift ups my family morale after all day traveling. In addition, after I've take the survey after wifi login, the staff prompted us to any difficulties we have within 10 minutes, which is appreciated by all of our family as members of accors hotel. I stay nearly every month for over a year at this hotel. Its clean comfortable easy access to where I need to go. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but for a single traveler its fine. Check in this time was long and slow, normally its quick. but they girl didn't recognize I was a regular nor my status and didn't offer benefits like the complimentary drink etc.

I got swapped to a handicapped room. Turns out the room is really for handicapped people - the shower head is far too low. There is nothing to separate the shower and the toilet so after the shower the bathroom floor is all flooded and water seeped out all the way almost to the bed. I have to use the towel to stop the flood quickly.
