I LOVED THE "BUFFET" BREAKFAST. I WAS VERY EXCITED 'COZ THE QUICKLY ATTENTION OF THE WORKERS OF THE HOTEL AND THE VERY EASY TO TAKE A BUS OR A TAXI. THE SERVICE WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE.

The hotel follow the same type of IBIS in general, there are include a high price to this type of Hotel, but the principal advantage is the location. Providencia is a very good downtown, with good bars and restaurants and there are a station of metro very near.

Any standard hotel expecting International guests to be on board should definitely have manpower in the hotels, at least in the reception, reasonably conversant with English language (understanding and speaking). How it is possible that the hotel receptionist of such an international brand neither understand nor speak in English. As a Non-Spanish guest, I have faced huge difficulties in staying at IBIS Santiago Providencia. Based on my past experience, staying at ACCOR Hotels in UK, I had booked this hotel, but after this visit I am extremely disappointed. I am also dissatisfied with the facilities offered in the Hotel Room. There is hardly anything complimentary, Bath kit, saving kit, arrangement for tea/coffee, drinking water, etc., inside the room. These are standard across the Globe. About the Paid Breakfast, there was hardly any variation during the 5 nights of our stay at the hotel. For such an international brand, these are very much important, and therefore should be definitely taken into consideration. Thanks and Regards....

I am a frequent guest of the Accor network, for 2 years I stay every week in a group hotel. I know the Ibis standard and I have nothing to complain about. I was negatively surprised by the standard of service of Ibis Santiago employees. Almost all of them showed no empathy. I found it very unprepared that a hotel where the vast majority of guests is Brazilian does not have an attendant who speaks Portuguese. Worse, when I asked the questions in Portuguese I received answers in Spanish and without any care to speak slowly or use expressions that would facilitate understanding. Here in Brazil the Accor network attendants speak many languages ​​and do their utmost to answer in the language of the guest. It seemed to me a certain "devaluation" of the Brazilian tourist, therefore we who represent more than half of the tourists visiting Chile. Another situation I witnessed was the inefficiency in the food replacement service for breakfast. There were employees but they acted in a disorganized manner, and I stayed for 45 minutes hoping to replace the scrambled egg tray. It was definitely a negative surprise not to find in this hotel the same standard of service that I always had in the Accor network.

You know what to expect from an Ibis, but this one was just ok. Not great variety of breakfast options, bedroom walls needed painting, no minibar in the room (which was a surprise), one of the elevators was sometimes out of order.

The check-in experience was very slow, and they were 40 minutes late when I finally got a room. One of the girls of the staff seem confused about the procedures and in one moment I thought that I was loosing my patience. No compensation was made

I prefer Ibis Providence since its installation. Still offers good price / quality ratio. I do not understand why every time I have to give my personal information, if they are registered in the lobby every time. The entry record could be much faster.

It is the typical small Ibis. But here they have a problem with breakfast. Very short breakfast and many times there is no food, or no dishes,....They need to improve a lot in the breakfast.

If the experience on the last day did not happened,, my rating would have been 9. The day before my check out,, I went to the front desk, to arrange a taxi pick up for the trip to the airport the next day, I was attended by Kevin. Kevin himself recommended the pick up time at 8:30 am. So the next day around 7:50 am,, after having breakfast I went to do the check out. Kevin was still working the front desk. At that moment after checking out, Kevin called the taxi . Me and my companion went to the lobby to wait for the taxi,,, it was around 8:05. Time passed,, since the taxi was not there yet,, I went back to the front desk to talk to Kevin,( 8:25 am). Kevin,,, grabbed his phone,,, and told me he would call again the taxi,,, so I went back to sit at the lobby. At 8:40 am,,, since the taxi had not arrived yet, I went back to the Front desk. This time , Kevin was not at the front desk, there was another employee named Javierana. I told her that I was waiting for a Taxi,, that Kevin had been calling. She said, wait I am going to ask Kevin, he was at a back room or office. She returned from that room and told me that Kevin said that the TAXI had left. I was very upset,, since Kevin NEVER told me this information,,, if I have not going for a third time to ask I would have not know this information. It was COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL from Kevin,, not telling me about the TAXI. Finally Javierana,,, got us an UBER ride from the Hotel to the Airport,,, but she was trying to defend Kevin, Finally we left to the airport around 9:05 am,, and since we were on an International flight we were kind of late. I hope that Kevin,,, gets some kind of reprimand.

- room towels was old and i didnt use. They have holes on it. - recepsion wokers had very few English. Turistik company workers were talking more better then your reception workers. - stil i couldnt solve my invoice request. Recepsion workers didnt change my company name on it. Please give me email for contact and changing my invoice. - in my room flat had problem for water pipes and i said several times but they solve in 3 days that water sound. Looks like somebody get a shower 24 hours. - breakfast staf was not enough we were waiting knife ,drinks or something . We were telling the missed materials on the place. - i ve been several ibis in the world but it was easy than here but your towels are same all your old hotels.

I had to wait for several hours (7 hours) in the lobby, despite having given request for early check in. The AC was not functioning and when I called and complained to the room service, my complaint was not resolved. Further, they had the audacity to disconnect the intercom line so that I could not complain again. Such service is unacceptable from any internationally reputed hotel. Shameful!
