Exactly as it’s name Budget, for us this was alls we needed a base to put our head down after exploring Belgium. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was bright, clean and modern with two single beds, a tv, shower, sink and separate toilet. Room was attended daily. Breakfast was basic which we were fine with. The only issue was the location, the hotel is located on an industrial/business park, if you don’t have a vehicle it’s about a fifteen minute walk to catch the tram which at night can mean walking in the dark.

I arrived rather late at night and the main access gate had already been closed. Upon pressing the door bell the main gate opened straight away and once inside I was warmly welcomed by -I suppose- the night auditor. I couldn't have expected a more welcoming and professional, efficient host, attentionate to a fault. The contrast the following morning couldn't have been greater: I wasn't greeted, had to ask several times for breakfast items to be refilled, empty tables were dirty and the place wasn't even full nor did anyone check in in the mean time or require the attention of the front desk clerk. What a shame!

Good hotel for one night stay

I stayed one night in this hotel because I needed to be in the area the next morning and didn't want to get stuck in traffic around Antwerp. The hotel is indeed simple but oke. The room was very dark and quiet and that's what I like. The bed was fine. Breakfast is very basic and not really worth the money.
